I've always sucked at art :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Might get photoshop and fiddle around with it though :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Nice artwork man! What program do you use to make the renders??

Thanks! I just checked out your gallery, your well on your way from what I see. I would try to use those brushes (The cool effects around your text) a little differently then you are currently. I have several friends who use those same brushes in a similar fashion. Perhaps you should find a style for yourself. I mean the designs look very good, but there has been a recent upheaval in the use of those brushes, so using them differently may help you stand out from the crowd. Personally I'd like to learn how to use them myself, but currently I'm much more focused on 3D applications.

As for the renders I used Photoshop (for 2d), 3DS Max and Maya (for 3D), Pencil for the drawings, and for some more detailed models about halfway in I used Z-Brush for rendering. I'm starting to do some experimenting with the Mental Ray renderer as well.

I dug up a few pieces of paper with drawings on them that I did a few years ago. I free-handed them and I'm not really a great artist so the facial features might not be proportionally accurate.

Wow guys you're all really good! I wish I could draw at least half as well as you. I think the the D & G one is very good.
I prefer sculpting, but it seems that nobody else does. Here's a sculpture I did last year.

And here is a sculpture I saw the other day at a University, I really like it.

I love anything artistic. some great stuff there. I dont have any of my drawings and scetches on the net or pc. :-( I do love making models but I dont think anyone on here would be interested in seeing what I have made.

I will have to dig out some of my stuff I have drawn and get it on here at some point. I love cartoons myself.

    kind regards
    Steve.

I've been known to spend a fair bit of my time drawing, etc.

A pencil sketch of a couple of dall sheep (I used a camera and not a scanner for this, so the image is rather... gray):

Another pencil sketch, this time of a hawk/kite (don't remember what kind of bird of prey it is... haha) I started it when I was 13, so it's not my best:

A couple of somewhat stylized drawings (coloured on the computer):

A dragon, coloured with pencil crayons (once again, I used a camera, not a scanner):

Aaaand... I'm not sure what to call this, exactly... it's sorta weird and has an impossibly huge tail  . I was mostly experimenting with a different style of colouring on the computer:

I've got a name for the last drawing! Let's call it a Haindowife (short for a half insane dog with feathers)
