    4/10 Yeah, gotta agree, even with the explanation. I saw Avatar when it came out, and still do not get the reference (i.e., I have no memory of this person). The hand-posturing and the general shadow aspect earned it the 4 points.

    7/10, it gets points bumped up because the guys name actually Iroh making it clever even if I don't get the reference.

    It took me a while but, the way I underdstand it, the dark tower is the guy. He stands in the middle of a field of innocence and serenity, armed to the teeth and ready to go to war and fight for what he believes in. He is the sacrifice - he will sacrifice his purity, his innocence, so the flowers in the field can continue to exist in peace. He probably used to be a flower but now he is nothing like a flower and he never will be again.
