Harry Potter and the Mid-Life Crisis!

Seriously though, I REALLY want to see Artemis Fowl made into a movie. And not just the first book, the entire series. 'Cause who wouldn't get turned on by a teen criminal mastermind?

And the A Series of Unfortunate Events movie was a real letdown. If only they had made a movie on ALL 13 books. And stuck to it. X_x

And of course there's The Supernaturalist (by Eoin Colfer (dude who wrote Artemis Fowl)). That would make such a cool film!

OH and Megatokyo would make such a great animated movie or series! <3

ALieToDieFor, Running with Scissors was made into a movie.

As for my input: The Kama Sutra.

    ^^ I kid, I kid.

I enjoy books fine so I can't think of a book that I want to be made into a movie..

I'm still hoping for an Eragon movie that doesn't completely destroy the book.

Artemis Fowl would make an awesome film....esp the first one, but also the other ones...Theyre actually doin it tho, but i don't put much faith in it...I dunno why, but Ive just got a feeling it won't be good...Dunno who's in it, or who's directing, but they are filming in Ireland, with Irish actors for the Fowls, and Americans for the fairies....

Just as an update (since i posted 2 minutes ago)...no actors have been cast yet, its likely that ...grr cant remember his name...the guy from Losk Stock and two Smoking Barrels and the italian Job with a pommy accent will be palying Butler and that the whole film may be in CGI...eurgh.....I thought Butler was meant to be slightly Asian looking, or am i thinking of another booK?....and also it MUST be done live action for it to be any good!!!

Seven Types of Ambiguity by Elliot Perlman. It'd be a rather long movie consdering the book is six hundred twenty-six pages long, small font, but I would love the movie. I think.

I'd love to see a Dune movie done with a huge budget. Yes, they've tried Dune movies before, but none of them really captured the feel of the book. They did it with Lord of the Rings, I'm sure they could do it with Dune.

The Joys of Gay Sex XD

    Err, I dunno.
Has the Rainbow Boys series been made into movies?
If so, then I vote The Supernaturalist  That'd make a fantastic movie, and they'd probably butcher Artemis Fowl anyway by trying to cram all three books into one, or something along those lines.

    Sophie's World XD

But it better not turn out crap like they did the first time.
And it would have to be exactly the same as the book.

Ive even chosen Dakota Fanning to play Sophie :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ender's Game and the rest of the Ender series, such amazing books. Ender's Game would be cool with all the fights with the Buggers and stuff. And probably The Supernaturalist, really enjoyed it too.

I forgot about Ender's Game! Good book. If they did it right, they may be able to pull off The Giver. It could be really good.

Have they made a movie of Fifth Business? Or Water For Elephants? Those are good too, but it would have to be a very artful movie to be any good...

And Deja Dead, of course :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Just to add a little dime-a-dozen trash. Entertaining book. I will stop now...

I've been on the Imdb boards and people are actually happy the giver movie is coming out. But i feel like the only one who thought the book was boring as hell, maybe because i was forced to read it?? but i wouldn't really give it a second chance, but the book I'm reading now is called The Ruins by Scott Smith, its unrealistic, since the vines can eat people, but they way he writes it makes you think that its real and could happen, and its VERY psychological.

Magaician, by Raymond Feist would be my pick, as well as the rest of the trilogy + the other trilogies he's written set in the same world (but with different generations).

For anyone who hasn't read them, DO IT, I much prefer them to Lord of the Rings despite their similarities.
