Best video game ever played?

That, is by far the best Zelda game in my opinion. They gave life to the world (albeit a small world...or at least to me it felt small). And although the changes where small and in some cases easy to miss entirely, you could actually see you actions have an effect on the world. All that in a game less than 64Meg in size just astounds me (but not as much as Krieger).

 

Mount & Blade

 

This game is an under-appreciated treasure.

 

As a series, I'd say Fire Emblem is my favourite. I've played every English release. Wooo... *throws small party*
But... just a single game? Hmmm... Probably The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. :3 Generic, I know. But it's just so... so FABULOUS.

Silent Hill 2 is still one of my top favorite games ever. Though Silent Hill 3 has my favorite character (Heather) and Homecoming with my favorite monster (Scarlet).

Shadow of the Colossus is a good close second. It's a beautiful game with fun gameplay (as long as the camera angle doesn't try to mess with you). The gorgeous soundtrack only makes it better.

 

Tough question. The best answer I can give this is probably Infamous 2. I feel like overall it was a healthy blend of everything I like to see in a game. Addicting gameplay, immersive and creative story, colorful environment and characters, a fantastic soundtrack and 2 brilliant endings that will always stick with me.

 

Majora's Mask. Changed my entire outlook on life.

 

Okami. Wonderul music, great story, awesome art and fun gameplay.

 

Man, that's a hard question. I love Okami, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper, Minecraft, Metroid... I'd have to go with the LoZ games, but you can't make me choose a favorite. IMPOSSIBRU

 

If I went by the game I have put the most time into over and over again it would be WoW lol, if you went single player then TES:O

I would never be able to decide. I love most of the Rpgs that I've played and replayed. Each have their flaws.

PS: WoW is far from the best video game I've played, for certain.

 

For me, it would have to be Grand Theft Auto (Video Game).

 

Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

Hands down my favourite and Halo 3.

 

Alice Mcgee Returns: I'm a big Alice in Wonderland fan! =)

 

The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

Or maybe Mass Effect 2. I like the whole free-roam/Sandbox thing in Oblivion, but I like the dialogue and relationships in Mass Effect. Then again Assassin's Creed II was a great game, and I have some awesome memories of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare.

SO MANY GAMES TO CHOOSE FROM ARGHHHH.

 

I'd have to go Kotor 2. I'm just a sucker for Star Wars and rpgs...

 

The Touhou Project. I can't choose one, because they're all too beautiful. (I can, of course, discount PoFV -- damn two-player monstrosity! D:<)

 

Dragon age Origins/Awakening, soo much perfection in one game.

 

i didn't enjoy playing silent hill but i love the whole world created

 

I would say anything that's related to Kingdom Hearts is very high on my list. Beyond that, I'm not really sure.

 

Radiata Stories, Suikoden IV & V, Harvest Moon (my childhood games!), Persona 3 and Persona 4
Oh and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core too
