    Reform became Alliance became Conservative

Which is funny since really Reform formed from the ashes of the Progressive Conservatives, then became the Alliance, then merged back with the PCs to become the plain old (awful) Conservatives.

WHen I think of Canada, I think of Eh, Aboot, Maple leaves, Good fishing, Mounties, and LABATT BLUE and a lower drinking age, 19!!! Seriously, I smashed half a case of Labatt Blue Light last night. I love it. I'm so glad I'm in the Northern US and can get it here, couldn't get it when i lived in AZ. I'm only about 30 minutes from the Canadian border.

Oh... And I'm a Calgary Flames Fan. SCREW THE OILERS!

For years I thought of Alberta as a province with more jobs than people.

    Dinosaurs!

I spent last summer on a paleontology internship with the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Did a lot of work on fossils in both the lab and out in the field. The was the only time I'd ever been to Alberta, and was by far the longest time I'd spent outside the USA. So my memories of Alberta are mainly about doing stuff with dinosaur fossils, and I will always associate the place with dinosaurs and fossils.

Whenever I see an Albertan license plate I know to zoom past them because they always drive so fucking slow!
