You mean Big Ben I think... Yes. Also we call trash "rubbish", sidewalk "pavement", gas "petrol".... And we put an extra "u" in "colour" for no obvious reason.

Well, I thinkm it is a slang word, something small. I found it in a book talking about American and British language , so they said wangdoodle is called for real biscuit, just asked Paul what is the real biscuit called

Centre, theatre, metre... do you guys spell aluminum aluminium? Don't forget couch/sofa "chesterfield." I didn't know about pavement, though. Oh, sweater "jumper" and... well no one knows when I refer to the article of clothing called a "top." That is... well basically anything you can wear on the top half of your body that isn't a t-shirt or a sweater. And it isn't button-up i.e. you have to pull it over your head. Oh... truck "lorry" and trunk "boot," right?
