Some Linux distro Actually, I'm using Windows XP right now, but my card reader only works on Windows. I also have Fedora installed on this PC.
Windows 8 is great when you learn where everything is located. I still use Window 7 for some things. What's nice is you can switch back and forth between the two.
My only computers are Macs (iMac and Macbook Air), but I use Windows 7 on both of them (installed on a separate partition via bootcamp) mainly for gaming and using applications that are exclusive to Windows. I prefer to use Mac OS for my laptop though, for the multi touch trackpad gestures.
Can someone tell me why someone posted in a thread from 2007, haha. and its cute because vista, 7, or 8 is not up there. aw cute 2007 was almost 7 years ago.
My desktop and notebook have Windows 8. These computers I got are new still since got them like less than a week agao. Just both are the lower end machines.
Ya I can say one of my uncles likes Windows XP still he says it's easier to use then Windows 7 or 8. He did say Windows 8 is confusing and is more for tablet PCs. But I think in the long run he will want to use Windows 7 or 8 more I think he just has to get use to it. My mom uses Windows 7 now since that's what is installed on the Sony notebook I gave her and also she has a desktop that has Windows 7 also. The desktop is custom made though. My moms ex boyfriend made it for her around a year agao. Might of been a year and half agao actually. I can say for me at first I was confused when I started using Windows 8 and got little frustrated since it didn't do what I wanted to do since I was going to wrong areas but later I got use to it more and now my new computers have Windows 8 I can get use to it even more and learn more. Going from Windows XP to 7 or so wasn't that confusing as going to Windows 8. Windows 8 really changed a lot on how to get to places.
