I used to listen to this song all the time late at night when my family found out my sister had to have brain surgery and it described how I was feeling perfectly. My sister's okay now but this song means a lot to me because it kept me sane at the time.

I was struggling in 2009/10 with accepting who i was, and went to see the Nolans on their tour. One of the songs they sang was The Voice Within, and when they sang everything felt okay and it felt like it was for me. Sounds SO cheesy, but the lyrics are lovely and I'll always hold a special place for it in my heart.

As much as I love Chasing Cars and How To Save A Life, my true love is Somewhere Only We Know, by Keane. My parents used to sing it to me and change the chorus line to "Pumpy-pumpikino" I remember being disappointed when I realised the singer did not say Pumpikino in the song.
