    Am I a cliche if I express how much I love girl in red’s music? I’m going to be 55 in a couple months but I’m also really allowing myself to explore my true identity for the first time. I like a lot of other lesbian artists but girl in red is the one I keep coming back to. Her music has a haunting quality that I love and I love how out and proud she is.

    I often, nowadays, think of myself around 21, due to the fact I only started to understand myself a couple of years back. It's hardly surprising given at that age I was suppressing it all, trying to be what I was supposed to be instead. Best to just go with the flow, I find!

    No you should feel free to like what music you want in my opinion. So if you like girl in red enjoy her music to your heart's content.

    I think so too. I also really like Anika Moa, a New Zealand lesbian artist. She’s tied with girl in red as my favorite.
