I'm free to chat about anything and new to the group. Hoping to make some friends that understand what I am going through.
Hiya Jesse! I am a man with a trans experience in my 20s, and up for chatting! I joined EC just yesterday so I am also new around here- it seems like a great space so far
Yea it does. I'm 16 and questioning whether or not I should be a guy. I am not really feeling in my body if that makes since
Makes sense to me! Of course, I can only speak of my experiences. Also worth noting that whether you are cis or trans, sometimes our bodies don't feel like the most comfortable of places to be! Something that was helpful for me was to imagine myself 10 years down the line....are you an older man, or an older woman? Or neither? Is it gender expression that makes you feel good? Gender non conformity? There is so much to explore! Are you in a safe place / have supportive people in your life to help you through self exploration?
People support me being bi but they don't support me being a man. When I think about me and my girlfriend in a few years, I want to be a man. I want our kids to call me dad. I want to cut my hair and change things at school but my aunt and uncle would never let me. Anyways how have u been today?
I'm glad you have at least a little support so far! Take your time with it and try on different names/clothes/ideas when/where you can! I'm always here if you want to talk more about the journey! I've been okay today..it was a strange few days if I'm honest. We also had a holiday here in Canada, which is never my favourite. And a really strange day at work today. My mind has been weird lately and I'm not sure if its a reflection of the external world or simply internal. What's the difference, anyways! How have you been?
Yea. I have always been more on the masc side my whole life. I hope it gets better for you. I am sorry you had a bad holiday. I have been good. Thanks and I'm always here if you need to talk!
Funnily enough, since I've started my medical transition, I've become quite effeminate. The Gay I was always meant to be! Though I've always been this way, I sort of suppressed it in an effort to feel more comfortable in my afab body. Funny how things turn out. No worries, and thank you! Tell me Jesse, what are some of your hobbies? I see you are from Alabama. What are some cool things to do there?
I am mostly a basketball player and watch tv. When I go down to Alabama to see my brother cuz I moved a couple of years ago I like to go mudding and fourwheeling. What about you?
Oooh nice! I used to be quite the soccer player for most of my life. but traded in my cleats for running shoes once I moved away for uni. I spend my spare time trail running, reading and trying not to watch too much YouTube! I've always wanted to go fourwheeling- it seems very exciting! The closest thing I can connect it to is the one time I went mountain biking...which was exhilarating! haha!
I love riding the four-wheeler! I try to read more than watch tv it just doesn't always happen lol. I have always wanted to ride a mountain bike.
I think so long as we aren't too hard on ourselves and respect the fact that both reading and watching tv are good to do, I don't see a problem in it! What sorts of tv shows/films are you currently watching?
Well, it was really nice talking to you and I'll get on here tomorrow I am gonna go to bed. I got a stupid doctor's appointment tomorrow. lol
oooooo I've heard both wonderful and traumatizing things about Greys Anatomy! I just finished the final season of Dear White People on Netflix- which they turned into a musical! Drama, comedy, Queer people, it has it all!
Just want to ask if anyone would like to chat. Age and gender don't matter, as long as you're not going to behave inappropriately.
