Songs that sound similar/would mash up well together?

    Do you ever listen to a song and think omg that sounds like such and such a song?

    Examples that I have are Good 4 U by Olivia Rodrigo and Misery Business by Paramore.
    They fit perfectly together. In fact there are versions around when people have put them together.

    Any songs you think would go perfectly together?

    That's real funny you say that because I read somewhere the other day that Olivia Rodrigo ended up giving Hayley Williams a writing credit on that song because of the similarities. So her and Paramore are getting royalties off Good 4 U.

    I can't think of anything original but someone put up a video online when Doja Cat's new album dropped that was the "Need to Know" video mashed up with a verse from Megan Thee Stallion's "Body" and a Nicki Minaj verse that I'm not sure what song it was from. It was so well made I thought it was official and got mad when I couldn't find it on my streaming app later. I was like where is this remix?? Oh, it's fan-made lol.

    Oh that's so cool about the Paramore and Olivia Rodrigo thing. I did not know that. :slight_smile:

    Some fan made remixes are really good. So I know the feeling of wanting to stream it but not being able to. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
