I apologize if I didn't include your sexual orientation. There are so many that I figured I would just list a few of the main ones.

Feel free to comment what your sexual orientation is if it's not up there.

BiBoyToy.....I am straight up gay! And very glad to be so. For so many years I felt as if I didn't "fit" anywhere. When I finally realized that I am and always have been gay, it was such a good feeling to know that I did fit somewhere...that there were other people like me. It was very like finding my home that I had been searching for! I am one of the people for whom a label is a very comforting thing. I realize that not everybody feels that way and that's fine. Labels are not for everyone...but they are for me!

Honestly I’m older and I’m not even confident in answering this anymore. Haha. I identified as bi in my late teen years, have identified as a lesbian since I was 20, and am now leaning toward bi again.

Demisexual (Panromantic). Early on I did not use a label (there were not very many back then anyway). For years I was not interested in men at all and said lesbian. After then losing interest in anyone I said asexual.

I'm happy to hear you no longer have any doubt about your sexual orientation. I'm sure that's a wonderful feeling!

I went through a very similar cycle as well. However, I went from identifying as straight in my late teens, to identifying as bisexual, then back to identifying as straight, and now, in my mid twenties, identifying as bisexual again. Fortunately, I now can now say with confidence that I am pretty certain I am in fact bisexual (I think I've known I'm bisexual since middle school but for whatever reason didn't accept and embrace it). Although, there is still that bit of doubt from time to time that I'm actually straight and not bisexual. Sometimes I wonder if I always will have minor doubts every once and awhile.

When I created the poll, I was thinking about adding one more option and it was going to be demisexual. I should have added it! I wish I could edit the poll to include it.

I am unsure about this but maybe if you asked them a moderator could edit the poll and add that one (though then my answer would still be "other" and it might skew it, not sure if that could be fixed then)

I believe you're able to change your vote.

I'll reach out to a moderator to see if they can add demisexual as an option.

Haha. I actually identified as straight before bi, that was in my early youth to mid teenage years. And omg I am full of doubts, but I try to get past them and just do what ultimately makes me happy.

Bisexual but I’m really wondering if I’m really gay.

I'm kind of the opposite, I'm bisexual but wondering if I'm really straight.

At the very beginning of my transition in sexuality I called myself bisexual however deep down I knew I was gay. I was unhappy pretending to be bi. Finally i came out as gay, the feeling was incredible. The sense of freedom, liberation and relief were so intense. Happily totally gay forever!

A label is very comforting for me as well. Being bisexual, I think it's super important. Otherwise, people just assume I'm gay. I feel like there is a weird narrative in society that people are either straight or gay and there is no in-between.

I honestly feel this. I keep bouncing between bi and lesbian. It has been tough trying to find the right label. It is slightly comforting to know that I do not have to choose one right away, but my curiosity will not let me rest until I get one.
