Surprisingly not a clickbait title. https://www.ladbible.com/news/food-...medium=website&utm_content=link&ICID=ref_fark As someone who has worked in a food related chemistry lab I find this incredibly fascinating. Would you be willing to quite literally eat yourself if it meant no more harm coming to animals?
Wow! Well, I'm actually vegetarian so I don't think I would because I'm not eating animals anyway. I would, though if it meant more people would become vegetarian/vegan.
No, Thanks. I am an ex-vegetarian and I don't buy veg propaganda. Eating ourselves is a bit blasphemous anyway.
My mind took this in a completely different direction prior to reading the article and your actual post But in regards to the article, no, I would not eat myself. Knowing that it came from me would creep me out. I'll just stick to my steaks from a cow and other animals as food sources, thanks.
That’s disgusting. I would rather starve than eat that steak. It’s dancing the line between cannibalism and omnivore. I get that some meats are bad for the environment, but what about chicken and fish. I’ve never fished because I would never kill a fish and would feel bad for embedded a hook in its lip for no reason. I’m fine with eating animals that come in a packet from the supermarket looking nothing like what they were. I don’t think anyone would go for the steak made by and from yourself.
I'm torn - I feel like eventually we're gonna shift away from our current eating habits. Think I'll go vegetarian before I have to chose between pseduo-human and insects LOL
Haha, well, I used to be able to do that as a younger and more flexible teen. Can confirm it was pretty weird but nice
Lucky! I've always wanted to try that and every attempt has been unsuccessful (struggles of being a fat guy, and also fucked up lower spine). And I worry that as I get older I'll never be able to do it.
Hmm... when you have to put the words "technically not" in front of something... You have to feed it with your own blood, for God's sake, "until it's fully grown". It's a little creepy, and as a vegan, I can just eat beans and take my B12, so no thank you.
When I read the title of the thread, the first thing I thought of us is another question that has been asked on the forum before: do you like your own "type?" LOL.
