I was really hoping for a Warren win, but that's life, haha. Voted early and voted Biden already, better choice between the two imo.

Sent in my mail-in ballot last week for Biden. I was born during the Clinton administration so I'd have to say Obama as the best president during my lifetime thus far...

During my lifetime? Either Kennedy or Obama.

I honor Ford in trying to help the country from imploding and repair some sense of humility to the office of the presidency.

Best post-president so far in my lifetime would be Carter. He’s more effective since he left office than anyone else so far. He’s used his post-presidency time to keep working towards his values.

As for some above who commented on Clinton, I think Clinton was very politically savvy - Gingrich and others reduced him to having one hand tied behind his back, but he somehow managed to keep going forward. Lousy ethics though, and I know gay guys older than me who thought he kept LGBTQ rights from advancing at a key moment of our nation’s history. They saw DADT as a government-enforced closet, for instance.

Never voted for a Republican or Democrat president ever, nor will I ever vote for one from those two parties. That and the potus is only 1/3 of the government; so blaming the person who holds that office for four years instead of the people who have been in the house or senate for 40+ years is not accomplishing anything.

While I didn't agree with all of Bill's stances he was the last president to have the rest of the government work with him to get things done. Obama I think had good intentions, but they were poorly executed.

1,761,424 of us disagree. If people would look at third party candidates more often instead of just blindly party voting blue or red we would get out of the mess we are in.

Third parties won't become a viable alternative because the other two parties will never let them. This year Florida had something on the ballot to allow independents to vote in our primaries, which have always been closed to whichever party you're in only. Both the Democrat and Republican parties told people to vote no on it (the only thing on the entire ballot they told people to vote the same way on) and it was a colossal failure. It had literally no effect on anything, all it would have done is let you vote in the primaries as an independent which is impossible currently. Yet a substantial majority of the state voted against it just because their parties told them to, on a totally harmless decision.

That kind of power wielded by the two big parties will crush third parties pretty much forever, since they would never allow third parties getting strong enough to oppose them. If a third party ever did start to have a chance, they would just both work together to crush it out of existence. Third parties can't really fight for themselves when they don't own anything and have no resources like the bigger parties do.

I think people have a right to vote for whoever they want to because it’s what they believe in. I actually understand libertarians a lot, however I won’t vote/register for one because if I’m going to vote I want to see results, but to each their own.

From an outside perspective, I would say Obama has been your best President, in my lifetime. He was followed by the absolute worst President. I cannot tell you how much damage Donald Trump has done to your countries reputation abroad and you should all think very carefully before electing anyone like him ever again. He has alienated many of your friends and allies in the world with his undiplomatic rants on Twitter and he is seen as generally irrational and untrustworthy. No matter what your political persuasion, you cannot have someone like that as President because it has serious implications for the safety and security of your country. Ask yourself if you would share highly sensitive security information with a man like Donald Trump. It's bad enough that we have Boris Johnson, but Trump makes him look saintly.
