and they are painfully loud especially those Dyson ones (the airstream in those also hurts), if they only have air dryers I just wipe my hands on my skirt and walk out with damp hands.

Yeah it’s really not good to use air dryers actually because not only can it dry out your skin, it can also spread fecal matter into the air.

Old hollywood is better than new hollywood. Movies haven't been good since the mid 1970's, there is no charm in anything made after then.

Agreed. Especially if someone has anxiety. From what I’ve observed, they may already have underlying anxiety issues, but once they start using marijuana it’s like they have to use it in order to not be anxious so it’s not really helping them it’s just moving in a circle.

The opinion for which I received the most flak on another site was my disbelief in astrology and the importance of zodiac signs. My political opinions are less controversial than my opinions on astrology.

Agreed. Prefer paper towel as well. Some of the dryers I have come across were utterly useless.

I mean, they’re not bad, but I don’t like a lot of the shapes.

It's probably the popular opinion for LGBTQ+ people, but not most cishets, but I think it's totally wrong and transphobic to assign babies genders based on genitals.

    Maybe I'm just crazy.

I hate watches. Why would anyone spend so much on one?

I completely agree, but that's probably because I have a watch with an alarm I can't turn off that starts making noise for minutes because I can't find it.

For more than 80% of my life it was the only way to know if I was going to be on time, first cells did not exist and then they were only for people with a LOT more money than me (a watch is a one time purchase, a cell is a monthly bill). It is also a whole lot more convenient to look at my wrist than it is to dig something out of my purse. In fact I just spent 100€ on a nonelectronic one and I could not be happier about spending that much (more than I spent on my current cell).

I dislike when cartoons break the forth wall. I like to watch them to escape reality, not be reminded that reality exists haha

    1) The ticking - if it's an old watch, one that audibly ticks, then that's going to annoy me at night. I remember having a watch as a kid that ticked. My ears have always been rather sensitive and I remember that the only way I could sleep was to either pause the watch or move it to another room. I tried moving it into my wardrobe but I still heard the ticking, so moving it to a different room is what I usually did.

    2) Yep- how they feel on my wrist. I don't like it. Plus, having to take it off when writing (or washing my hands).

    3) I tend to find watches harder to process. Especially analogue ones. I know, logically, how they work but sometimes I have trouble applying that knowledge in real life. Particularly if the watch is either missing numbers or instead has roman numerals. I know that understanding such a clock should be a simple process for someone my age, after all the numbers (or lack thereof) still work the same. Yet my mind draws a blank almost as if I've hit a wall and it takes me much longer to work out what the watch is telling me. I have visual processing issues and it can take me longer than most to make sense of certain information. Particularly when that information is changed from the typical presentation.

So I much prefer dragging my phone (with a digital clock) out of my bag then being stuck in an embarrassing situation where I'm trying to figure out the time. I know I've been in situations where someone's asked me the time and I haven't been sure what a clock was saying, so I took my phone out of my bag instead (much to the confusion of the person I'm with). Usually when that happens I make up some kind of lie / excuse, but with the people who know me well they know what I'm doing.
