I wish I could give you a Like for this, because I agree with you.

When I was in my early 20's I always had issues with reading. I knew something was wrong but people would try and convince me otherwise. People would say it's stress, word blindness, and so on. I knew I had dyslexia but I couldn't officially say it. At 25 I went for an assessment and was officially diagnosed with it.

I've never been diagnosed with ADHD but I'm quite confident I have it. In fact, when I went to my assessment, the assessor said that my issues were 'almost attentional' as she put it. She gave me a quick ADHD test, to which I scored 47/50. She strongly advised I see a doctor, though me being me, I just keep putting it off because it never feels important.

I think there comes a point where, when you know, you just know. It's an inexplainable feeling, but when you truly know there's some kind of issue that goes against social norms, you just know.

I agree with this. We have and more information at our disposal. You also know your body and mind more than someone you periodically see for your health. If it's fairly obvious what you might have, if you've had it before and you might have an idea of whether your ailment is the bacterial or viral type, and if it's for over the counter things, I don't see a problem.

Some politicians who belong to the wrong party are hot. It doesn't mean I would ever vote or support them. I will see a news photo and then click on it to see who that person is. You find out their positions and opinions aren't at all like yours but it doesn't change the way they look.

16 month calendars are stupid. Who stops using a calendar partway through the year just to buy a new calendar with those same four months on it???

Some people can't put it down! I'm one of those people. That explains why I don't buy it too often.

I like the taste, but can’t stand the texture. I like Reese’s cups, for example, but not peanut butter from a jar.

I didn't either but I always see 16 month calendars when I go buy a new one towards the end of the year.

I don't know why people buy 12 month calendars either. Why only buy 1 year at a time when you'll need a new one every year?

    I do 10 years at a time.

    For example: https://www.decadecalendar.com/

I don’t like bacon that much. I use to eat it at least once a week but now I don’t care for it much. I don’t mind it as an ingredient but by itself I could go without it.

I don't understand why Kamala Harris is doing interviews in masks when outside? Bizarre. I'm sure she's far from the only one doing that though.

You're far more likely to catch it when indoors or in a confined space, if you're outdoors and keeping a distance, what's the need for a mask? Genuine question.

A cough/sneeze can travel about 15 feet, and if the wind picks it up too the germs can travel for thousands of feet before landing on something, so it still helps while outside.

I didn't think about that. I believe that just by normal breathing it could travel about 3 feet in still air. I wear a mask where I am supposed to but not if I am walking around outside in an uncrowded neighborhood.

Unpopular opinion - the idea of eating chicken and waffles does not appeal to me at all.

I think people should wait until 30 until they have kids.

It's just over a year until I hit my 20s and could never imagine having kids any time soon. It scares me when I hear of people only a few years older than me starting a family. Wait until you've had some life experience and some decent money before ending up with kids.

Part of it may be to normalize wearing a mask. Compliance is not the greatest in the US and if people decide they aren’t embarrassed (or whatever) to wear one now because she is, that can only be a good thing.

The word narcissist is overused and doesn’t always belong where people think it does.

It's a big buzz word lately. People use it too much and misspell it too often.

I know. Just because someone is self centered doesn’t mean they are a narcissist. Also you can’t self identify yourself as a narcissist or if you think you’re a narcissist, you’re not. A true narcissist wouldn’t be able to acknowledge that.

A lot of educators aren’t actually that intelligent.
