Clearly we've swapped weather since we've barely had any rain in Scotland for the 4 weeks since lockdown started. Quite glad about it though since we had a freezing winter.

Thrilled to finally finish all things for this year of uni. Giving it one more semester, hopefully it will work out.

The Spanish department seem to be absolute morons - hiring some staff who can barely speak English and giving us (beginners class) several advanced listening tests (even my sister who has done the language for several years said it was too hard for her) despite the fact that they were way too difficult and there were several complaints from pupils which were brushed off by the class coordinator. Glad to be rid of them which is a shame as I genuinely wanted to learn their language.

I don't know if it's the same way there, but at my university the Spanish department staff do not speak in English during class, ever. After the first week or two of explaining the very basics in English, the Spanish professor or teaching assistant switches to talking 100% in Spanish 100% of the time, even in the later half of beginner classes. So yeah, that's always frustrating, having someone teach you things you're going to be tested on using words you literally don't understand. Also every university student in the state is required to take 3 of those classes no matter what your major is...so it's unavoidable.

They actually do speak a bit of English in class (as opposed to the French classes which are a much higher level and thus only really spoken in French) but I was appalled at how bad one of tutor's English level was. Broken English, didn't know much beyond the basics, messed up with singulars and plurals and spoke a bit too quietly. I'm surprised that he's able to live in Scotland with that level of English. Also admitted to not owning a TV which is unforgivable if you are learning another language - watching TV is one of the best ways to properly pick the language up. How can he expect to teach Spanish to English speakers if he barely knows English? I find it confusing.

Groin strains (well, that's what it appears to be anyway) are no fun. Virtually no flexibility at all and painful to get out of bed or even a chair.

Oh boy. He doesn't want to let go.

    Sigh

This is gonna be the hardest part, and I don't know if I will be able to stay firm. Or if I should

So... Animal's have one look they are born with whether that is fur or feathers and what not.

I was wondering today whilst sitting in my garden, we humans change clothes now and again. So how they look at us do they think or are they aware that it is still us or do they think it's another creature.

Something that's on my mind recently:

Perhaps in July I won't get pulled aside at the Milimeter Wave Scanner for an 'anomalous mass' in the area of my groin.

The reason that that's been going through my mind is because last time I did fly, I was pulled aside for that exact reason. Granted this was still less than a year into my transition, but I've come a long way since then and I've learnt a thing or two.

After almost a year using this site on my phone, I finally have a computer again. It is really weird seeing the desktop version of the site again. It is nice to have a laptop again.

My professor clearly doesn't want to teach his class. Every time half of the lesson is about random topics. Today it was about martini.

It is so nice to have a computer again. I have gotten so much done that I had not been able to get done.

I've had two online lessons during all of this. YouTube has been my teacher for most of the quarantine. We're not scheduled any more lessons until September now. On the plus side, I only have small tasks to complete anyway. I just finished a big project recently so my workload has significantly decreased.

I've been trying to figure out why my mouth feels so sore and tired and I think it's because I've been smiling too much today?

Wow. It's been a good day, I guess.

God, I'm so fat. Quarantine isn't helping either. I just want to be thin for once in my life but that seems like its never going to happen.

I am getting very used to operating off of very little sleep... that has mostly happened on accident since I had to switch to a night shift schedule. Oops. At least I'm getting a lot of stuff done.
