Personally, I have always done 'the gay sit'. I didn't realise this was a stereotype for a while, but when I did it made me laugh because I have never, ever been able to sit properly. I'm sitting weirdly as I'm typing this now.

    * I barely have an friends, but they are all girls. I just get along with girls easier in general

    * I wouldn't call myself obsessed or a "stan", but I like a bit of stereotypical music, like Lady Gaga lol

    Bi stereotypes:
-I roll the bottoms of my jeans a lot
-I sometimes sit in weird positions

There are probably more but I'm not aware of a lot of bisexual stereotypes

    Gay stereotypes:
-My closest best friends are all female.
-I say "Yasss" and "Yasss queen/king" to a lot of things"
    -my voice is higher pitched

Does having low self esteem count?

Let's see: I like opera, musical theater and going dancing. I've been known to throw some pretty fabulous parties. I'm told that I'm very empathetic often enough that I believe it.

I have limp wrists, I'm nervous all the time and rely on medication for anxiety like a lot of homosexual men do, I can be very eccentric and flamboyant and I'm very promiscuous when I get horny. I also grew up with an overbearing mother and an absent father. My Mom's a helicopter parent who insists on invading every aspect of my life and when I told her I was gay she flat out asked me if I was into children because she's from a generation that was raised to believe all gays are into kiddies. My Dad is homophobic, but I've long suspected that he's a closet case who's so deep in there he's finding Christmas presents.

    - I'm the life of the party. If I go to a party with 100 people I don't know, at least 80 will know who I am by the end of it. Social butterfly to the max.

    - It was brought to my attention many times over the years that I have a gay walk. I didn't know what that meant until last year but now I see it. Long, fast strides with more hip movement than normal and moving in a fluid motion. My boyfriend says I don't walk, I "glide."

    - Physical closeness and being in your personal space quickly if I like you. Oh we've known each other 37 seconds? Cool, I shall now touch your arm throughout the conversation for no reason and lean on you when we sit down. I don't even notice it.

    - Beach/pool obsession. I should have been born a crab honestly, nowhere is more my home than the beach.

When i was young ,im always fond of wearing ragged style clothes too like whatever comfy shirt i wear them and didnt know genuinely that time plaid shirts are could be more for gays lol.
For the love of brunches with drag shows ( dont forget bottomless mimosas ) then the whole day be the entertainment of looking around the beautiful people.
Love wearing baseball caps wherever i go i just don't even noticed it anymore I'm immuned .
I fit in the category where assumptions is there all the time. When i look straight and goes with my gayest best friend to the beach but who looks damn straight as well then we are assumed as couple lol maybe ill try to have a rainbow beach towel so theyd know and not so darn hard to hit on someone on every time.

I do not think I have one that fits.

Since I do not see a need to conform and I see all people as equal, I do not see a need to even look at stereotypes for they do not define us.

I guess I just do not spend time thinking about such things.

My music tastes are extremely gay. It’s both intentional and unintentional. In high school my friend and I were jokingly watching old Madonna videos because we were both filmmakers and trying to mimic the style of 90s MTV. I actually started to enjoy the music itself and when I found out how big Madonna was in the LGBT community I decided to embrace it. Now I‘ve got an entire music “gaylist” going.

I may have to adopt the musical 'gaylist'; this is obviously a term from some sort of genius. Love it!

I would also wear plaid all the time if I could ever find any! Love the rainbow beach towel thing.

Can't relate to the social butterfly thing unfortunately, but yeah that sounds pretty gay. So am I, though, so that's a compliment in my eyes!

That's alright! This was just meant to be a silly post about things that are oddly true. Of course you're absolutely right that we are not defined by stereotypes, but sometimes it's fun to look at what we relate to
