Favorite lesbian movies... I would go with Boys Don't Cry (classic). Pariah. Carol (its alright). Freeheld was alright too, but I wanted more with it. Still wanting to watch My Days of Mercy... Also. I wish they would remake Fried Green Tomatoes, the book was good, the movie was good too, but really should've had a lesbian storyline. How about you? Favorite lesbian movies?
So what kind of music are you guys into? Anyone can answer, lol. Personally I'm a fan of all genres, aside from country/bluegrass. Haha.
I go all over, but I go to more happy, up-beat, music, like "Pink Cloud", I also listen to "You Say Run" to feel like a BA.
Fun Question(I hope), Who here knows any Sign Language, P.S. It's my favorite Language, so fun. Love all of you.
I would have to go for Imagine me and you. I also like But I'm a cheerleader. I like the story behind Blue is the warmest colour, the coming of age part but bits of it are just pure straight man fantasy which I think ruins it a bit. Oh and surely everything should gave a lesbian storyline.
I LOVE Imagine Me and You. It's just so positive. Like 'lesbians can have rom-com happy endings too'.
Yes exactly, the only thing I am less keen on is the fact they get together behind his back. I dont condone cheating even if it is for lesbians but it is such a feel good movie that I gloss over that.
Sorry I missed this. I didn't do anything exciting. My favorite lesbian movie is a controversial one, Loving Annabelle. It's about a student-teacher relationship.
I enjoy about all moods equally, and not sure I've heard of any mentioned, but I may give it a listen sometime. Know some sign language, honestly I use to know more, but oy has kinda left me over time.
Haha, agree. Everything should have a lesbian storyline, or character at least. Can't say I've seen Imagine Me and You, but I have watched But I'm A Cheerleader and Blue is the Warmest Color... Both good movies, Blue was very sexual though, at times almost too much for my taste. Good movie though. And agree definite straight man fantasy at times.
Oh definitely. We saw Blue is the warmest colour in the cinema and that was the longest 12 minutes of my life. At least 11 too many.
No worries. I think its ok to love a movie about something which might be controversial in a real life situation. I mean of course a student teacher relationship has many inappropriate aspects but films are for entertainment so as long as they are taken as such I dont see there being anything wrong with it.
Hi there everyone , I am also Lesbian and 26 years old . I’m new to EC , I have a rainbow flag and lesbian pride flag hanging in my room at my parents house , they know I’m lesbian it didn’t even shock them at all after the crazy ride of raising me was . Haha
I feel bad that it doesn't bother me as much as think it should, because it makes me feel that at some level I don't take their relationship as seriously as a heterosexual relationship . I feel a bit bad for the guy but I don't instinctively massively judge Rachel for cheating.
I think I would feel worse about it if I didnt have such a warm fuzzy feeling inside watching the girls together.
Haha. I watched it on Netflix, from the comfort of home with my gf, and it still made me a bit uncomfortable... So I def. agree. Haha
Rock/Alternative are probably my favorite genres. And I like some heavy metal, mostly old metal bands though, nothing new really.
