Pubes

Hahahaha! Dude, truck stop bathrooms are the worst! There are few exceptions when you’re trying to find a truck stop with a clean bathroom.

And while there are a lot of men and women in the community like myself who shave or trim. There is a whole other faction of people who are in love with bushiness. I dunno. I always figured it was respectful to trim the hedges for company. Just my two cents.

 

I do think its respectful to trim down there, big bushy sweaty pubes are definitley digusting, and when you go into the toilet and find long stray pubic hairs it grosses me out. But I also think that shaved bald pubes look strange.

But in all honesty. I never trimmed mine before I came out (3 years ago) and haven’t trimmed much in the last couple years... I have no idea what I’m doing and I’ve read so many articles on the process... the problem is I can’t even trim my beard! I always mess it up and end up having it off!!!!! So I’m completely lost on the topic...

 

I am yet to meet a man who trims/shaves his pubes :/

My personal grooming preferences: I shave my pubes. I do not like the look or feel of pubic hair (on myself, or on a future female partner). It's personal preference, and I have never had any complaints about it being creepy/looking or feeling like a prepubescent child. It just makes for better oral, because you don't get stray pubic hairs in your mouth. I haven't had sex with a woman yet, but I would prefer for her to be clean-shaved too. Of course I cannot dictate other people's grooming preferences. If a woman at least trims (close trim) then I could live with that. But definite turn-off if it's a wild bush. I've been shaving my pubes off since the age of 14 (I'll be 31 in July)...

 

At this point in my life, I see no reason to cut the grass when no one ever goes in the yard...

It's a personal preference. Most guys appear to trim it up a bit. I am into the shaved look myself. I shave completely. My wife actually liked it, especially when all oiled up. I also got a really nicer tan when I used to lay out at the nude beach. *grin* I just hope that if the time ever comes, my partner won't expect to see grass down there on the lawn. *smirk*

 

LOL I never thought of that! Full bush here by preference. It itches way too much to shave them all off.

 

Unless the bushes are out if control leave them alone.....

It's a personal choice, I like being hairy. I would partly shave for a partner but never fully, somebody hair is good in my humble opinion.

 

I prefer trimming, since as mentioned before shaving completely itches. I've seen some people do cool things with theirs though... like shaving words into the hair or dying it different colors (what can i say, I know weird people...). Like one dude who turned his into the American flag with dye, and a girl who shaved a heart into hers.

 

A note of caution, that I have mentioned before on the forum and will do so again...

If you trim or shave be very careful, because small cuts or micro tears in this area can become entry points for infections, including STI's. If you do trim or shave, it's perhaps best to refrain from sex for a day or two afterwards, just in case you have damaged the skin while trimming or shaving.

 

It’s also a great way to get a staph infection, which is something you really want to avoid.

 

If that’s the case people shouldn’t shave their face either.

 

I trim mine. Sometimes I do it just for the fun of doing it.

I don't shave, but then I have not a huge bush in the first place. Trail above waistline leading to moderate male pubes is very sexy, my opinion.

 

From a hygiene point of view I prefer trimmed.

But a question for all the gals out there: Do you prefer your partner to be shaved or bush? I'd imagine that oral on a bush isn't very pleasant...
