So, this has become a big item in the news in the last couple years, and I also am old enough now where I have made some effort to read up on it and do research. I have been curious about people's opinions on this issue? Do you smoke weed? Do you like it? If you haven't would you try it? Do you think it should be legal everywhere? Do you like in a state or country where it already is? I just want to learn more.

I use cannibus for PTSD and anxiety. It's helped me get back on my feet and functioning again. The medical program in Maine is very good. It should definitely be legal.

If people use it for medical reasons in my opinion then yes, if not and to use it for fun than no

Weed's been legal in Canada for about a month now, and honestly nothing changed. There are a few shops that have actually sold out and had to close the doors until they get their new shipment, but otherwise nothing changed. I don't understand what the big deal is and all the controversy about it being illegal or legal. I honestly think it people were educated on it's effects (both good and bad) there'd be less debates over whether it should be legal.

I don't smoke weed, and I don't have a problem with people who want to smoke it. The only thing I don't like about it, is that it STICKS like skunk. I don't understand why it's not legal worldwide already. Though, if it were legal everywhere, I think the rules for marijuana should be the same as the rules for cigarettes. Only because it's still their choice whether or not they choose to smoke it, and not everyone likes the odour or has the same views on the matter, or they just don't want their kids or themselves to breathe in the smoke.

Umm I'm not into any chemical mood enhancers tbh  They make people act stupid and I don't get what's fun in it.

Pot isn’t my thing, but we had a referendum on legalizing marijuana last week and I voted yes, along with roughly 56% of my fellow Michigan voters.

I like cannabis but only to eat, not to smoke. Even vaping is just a no for me. I remember the first time I got high and felt "Oh man, this unlocks so many things for me."

Thats what I find fascinating about it. I am all about new experiences and they way things feel if you know what I mean. I also am curious about how it could be applied to sex.

The answer to this depends on which strain. There are a couple that are well known for that, mostly of the sativa variety. I can't remember which ones specifically off the top of my head.

That is interesting. I figured there would be. I know there are a lot of varieties.

I do think it would be interesting to eat it. I mean, it's a plant right? So it would probably not taste too weird.

Smoking is just bad for you no matter how you slice or dice it. And it also plays into the instant-gratification thing. When you eat cannabis it comes on more slowly like 45 minutes before you notice anything. Me, I bake cookies. It does have to be heated to have an effect.

As far as mixing it with sex... I don't really. Some people love to, so I'm not knocking it. But for me, I just get fascinated by this new book/video/music and get into that. Anyway sex is purely theoretical for now, but maybe that cutie I just met...

Cookies sound good! Or pot brownies. I've heard those are popular.

The dosage of edibles and how it effects the body are unpredictable. A percentage of people(5%?) can't absorb the medicine that way.

I do occasionally smoke weed - in complete seriousness, don't have sex while you're high until your sex life is very boring. The reason is that yes it feels good. Like, I cannot describe how much better it feels. Once you have sex while high all normal sex will become boring immediately. The sensations are taken to a ridiculous new level and everything feels twice as good (assuming you're using the right strain). Having an orgasm while high is probably the most powerful sensation of pleasure it's possible for a human to experience. This also causes the issue that weed isn't actually that strong of a drug. So then you want better drugs to make the sex even more great, which leads you to ecstasy tablets, and other more dangerous drugs.

For the original post, yea legalize it - it's really stupid not to. The government will make a fortune taxing it and they've already proven it's far less harmful than both alcohol and cigarettes which are already legal. Nobody commits crimes or does violent things while high on weed. Literally all that that happens usually is you start giggling uncontrollably because everything is suddenly funny, you zone out and the entire room feels like it's vibrating, then you want to go eat stuff and go to sleep.

Oh and also, edibles are WAY more powerful than smoking it. Do not try edibles unless you're with good friends and know how they were made. Smoking you'll be high for like an hour or two. Strong edibles, your first time you'll be high for legit like 12-24 hours.

This is really good to know. I appreciate your forthrightness. I suspected sex high would be amazing. And I can totally get how it could become addictive. I honestly can only imagine how good it probably feels. And this is from someone who doesn't enjoy alcohol and doesn't understand how being drunk would feel good at all. But pot? That fascinates me.
