So in case anyone here was still interested, (I think I remember there being one or two people here who were?) I did get the second book in that lesbian fantasy series. It was amazing too! It has four books and the first two I've read did not disappoint and I am told by others they only get better. So I highly recommend "The Lyremouth Chronicles" by Jane Fletcher. But I also just completed the first book of a trilogy, "When Women were Warriors" about a matriarchal clan of warrior women, most of whom are at least bisexual, and the main character is, (so far) a lesbian. It was also amazingly good and I plan on getting the rest of the set.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned these yet, but 'Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe' by Benjamin Alire Sáenz is a really good book. It's not really something I'd usually go for but I'm really glad I did. Also, 'Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda' by Becky Albertalli is really good. It's the book that Love, Simon is based off.

Also for fans of Becky Albertalli, she and Daniel Silvera, (another notable LGB author of "They Both Die in the End", in a few months are collaborating on a book together called "What if it's Us?"

I read the entire trilogy and it's pretty good. I don't think that most of them are bisexual since the only sex scenes in the whole trilogy are two girls. The storyline gets better in the second one. The first one I got for free on kindle.

I assume the most popular books have been talked about already, but some of the books I don't think are that popular that I enjoyed too, were:
    • The Abyss Surrounds Us by Emily Skrutskie which is about pirates but set in the future and the protagonist is into women
    • The Dark Wife by Sarah Diemer which has its faults but if you like Greek Mythology you have to read it, it's a lesbian Persephone and Hades retelling
    • The Rules and Regulations for Mediating Myths & Magic by F.T. Lukens which is a very light and fluffy book, very ridiculous and strange but also incredibly adorable with a bisexual main character (and the word bisexual is actually on the page several times!) who starts to work for a guy that keeps all different kinds of Myths in check
    • You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour and David Leviathan which is not that realistic but it features a lesbian and a gay main character becoming friends during Pride Week, so just what many of us need

    Quick correction, it's Adam Silvera.

Adam's a fantastic LGBT author who is gay himself. He currently has three books out More Happy Than Not, History Is All You Left Me, and They Both Die At The End. To be warned, though, Adam's books are notoriously sad in nature compared to Becky's.

I am incredibly hyped up for What If It's Us though and will be preordering a signed copy ASAP.

Not a problem at all! I just wanted to correct so that more people can be hype and find Adam's amazing books!

One book I would recommend is Christopher Isherwood's A Single Man.

Really? I started reading it but didn't love it. Should I give it a second chance?

It really all depends on your interests, so it's hard to say. Something I find a masterpiece can be seen as shit by someone else. I resonated with Mateo, personally, and loved seeing Rufus open up. The book broke me. I really enjoy gay teen protagonists, which is why Adam's books really resonate with me.

I'm reading a series of books by a male author who writes lesbian fiction. He's better than some male authors because he doesn't write detailed sex scenes. He mentions the characters had sex but doesn't describe it. He has many different series and they are all really good. My favorite are the Urban Fairytales series which are 100% worth the read, and the Unleashed series which is about a dog walker. She's funny as hell, really loves dogs and realises she likes girls when she starts falling in love with her cop roommate.

I started reading that and it seemed really good, isn't there a movie coming out soon?
