So in the mean time we can talk here. I'm from Florida actually and I identify as bisexual. I used to think I was straight for many years until I started to question my sexuality. What about you? What do you identify as?
So maybe I'm not dumb, nice I'm from Italy and I identify as lesbian, even though lately I've had some issues with myself. I'm not really comfortable with my body, I'm kinda having gender dysphoria (I think that is how it's called). I tried to talk about this with some friends of mine, but it's just something people don't accept easily, or don't fully understand. I also moved for college, so that makes even easier to lose each others contacts. What do you do for a living?
I'm actually a student right now. But I volunteer at a community library and when I transfer schools I'm hoping to look for a paying gig. I currently live at home still. That must be tough having few friends to discuss this with. I don't have gay irl friends either. Wow! That's impressive being in college at only fourteen.
I'm 19 yo, I think being in college at 14 in Italy is impossible. I actually have gay friends irl, couple of them, I even have a girlfriend, and she is always there for me to talk, but it's just not easy talking to her sometimes, bc she genuinely don't know what to say to me, she cares and everything, but simply doesn't know how to help me, and that makes her feel really bad. I thought about transitioning, so that I could "fix" everything, but that scares me a lot, and you really need to talk to a psychologist first. And I'm also afraid of losing her, really afraid. She's the only person I trust right now, and I would be lost without her.
Oh I'm so sorry! I was mixing you up with the op who is fourteen! No wonder I was confused. I'm at a two year school so I'm transferring to a four year university. That's great about having a girlfriend. Are you out to anyone?
Uh four years, that's great, we either do three or five. What are you studying? About being a lesbian I'm out to everyone, I don't really care about what people think regarding who I love, but I told only a few people that I was questioning myself about my gender... What about you, are you out to anyone? And how did you come out? Some people have really tough experiences, mine was pretty ordinary, told my mom, she cried, hugged me saying that she loved me, and then told it to my dad, I guess, I never really asked (but I know he knows). In high school I felt the urge to come out to everyone (I was too exited to keep it just to myself), so, after telling it privately to some of my closest friends, I just said (during a class discussion regarding the topic) "Maybe some of you don't get this, but it's not normal walking around the city holding hands with my girlfriend and seeing people staring at you just because you're gay"
