My sister said, "Okay. Bye." because she wanted me out of her room. Most of my friends' responses were, "Yeah. We know.", but one of my friends was a bit more naïve and exclaimed, "You're WHAT!?!?!?" When my nearby friends wondered how she could possibly have missed it, she said, "I just never thought about it before." She was cool with it though, just surprised.

From a friend that I just told.

"Not gonna say I called it, but I kind of had a feeling with some of your mannerisms."

That's the second person to tell me they had a feeling before I told them. I guess I project something that makes people figure it out that I'm not aware of.

When I first told my mother I like other women:

"But you are not hairy and muscular..."

Did she expect that gay women are a different gender or something? I'll never know. Thankfully now she'll a lot cooler with it. At least she tries to be.

So, the first time I came out to someone, it was a High School friend of mine. She was like "Oh, that's odd... I always thought you were straight, but I'm proud of you." And I had a huge mix of anxiety and relief. Pretty typical coming out story.

The second time I came out, it was a little while after my first time. I knew I needed to come out to this friend, because I knew she wouldn't freak out. She's pretty chill. So, I said, "I'm bi." And she said, "Oh. Okay." That made my brain blow to little pieces, because I was like What? That's it? So, I said, "That's all you're going to say?" And she says, "Yeah. No big deal. You do you." And I was like, "Oh. I guess it isn't."

Now, I'm a happy little rainbow unicorn, coming out to my friends and standing clear of my conservative family.

My sister asked if I was gay. Told her that I didn't know.

"It's okay if you are. You know me. I love the gays, they're like Pokemon. Gotta catch em all!"

I'm not really out and I've never personally heard any funny responses, but one funny one that could be said is "Wait, we were supposed to think you were straight?"

After I told my dad I’m gay, he said, “so, you’re a same sex person?” I couldn’t stop laughing which helped because I was so nervous. He’s adorably innocent. I said, “yeah, I’m into dudes!”

My mom said "but you didn't watch Will and Grace" as if that was a requirement.

When I called my mom to tell her I'm gay she just said, "Uh, yeah, DUH!" and then immediately followed up with, "Sorry I guess you probably expected something lovey dovey stuff. I've been drinking."

Most of my friends said " yeah we knew" and I was like how so I didn't and their answer was " I guess you never saw yourself look a the women who's nails or outfit we were admiring while you looked at everything but that " needless to say my jaw drop considerably

“But, you’re such a good cook.” I was unaware that was a stereotype. Lol

When I came out to my cousin, who is like my best friend, I was super nervous even though she was one of the last people I told. We live far away so we don’t get to see each other often although we FaceTime almost everyday. I didn’t want to tell her over the phone so I waiting until we are with each other in person. I waited till we were alone and then said, “there is someone I need to tell you.” She says that she knows what this is about and gives me a knowing look. Confused since nobody else guessed it, I was like “How the hell do u already know?!” She replies with “you once told me that you wished there was a rainbow colored iPhone option. It wasn’t hard to put the pieces together.” Yeah, she’s pretty great.

When I came out to my sister she said, "so who are you gay with? Luci [my best friend]." She was so excited and I told her not to tell my mom haha.
The thing is, I actually do have a crush on Luci :flushed::joy:
