Help! I was searching my brother's lost phone using his gmail account location tool on my laptop and then I found his recent searching activity- I was shocked seeing that he ( 38, married) was googling ( last few days in a row):
" why do people feel so disgusted about homosexuality"
" is being transgender a sin"
    " reparative therapy"
and some articles " help- I dont want to be gay" etc
He was searching youtube series on being homosexual and catholic.
He watched some gay topic movies( I am Michael and call me by your name)
I want to help him if he struggles but dont know what the heck this could be - is hifing something or its simply a homophoby ( sorry but I hope this it abot it)

Since we don't know you or your brother, this is difficult to know with any degree of certainty. It is illuminating though. Is it possible he was googling these things because he suspects you are gay?

I'mgay is correct. There's no way to know what your brother is feeling. I would just be there for him. Tell him you noticed he seemed off and that you are there for him.

Don't pry and risk alienating him.

BTW. I have three gay siblings..runs in families!

Hard to tell without knowing more. If he is distant ask what's wrong.

This has been true in my experience. Both of my uncles on my mom's side are gay and two great uncles on my dad's side are gay too. Unfortunately we don't have any out queer women in my family. I'm the only one I know of, and I'm not out either.

I think, at least where I grew up, that older Lesbian women were more accepted than gay men. I had a great aunt who was, likely, gay. She lived with another woman for decades and was never married. Everyone sort of knew. But, I think, in a time when women were not considered as sexual as men no one cared because we all assumed women wouldn't have sex together right?

I also have a, likely, gay aunt. She, too has never come out, never married, and always has a close female friend. She once visited me with another female friend and I delicately asked about the guest room sleeping arrangements. She winked at me and told me this friend was not her type...

I also, probably, have a gay nephew.

My family is a lot of fun!

That's true. I never thought about that. Way back when there were even those "Boston Marriages"which were really popular and some of those women were surely gay. Who knows, maybe someone way back in the family tree had one of those.
