Still trying to wrap my head around how the father's day gift I sent from Kentucky to my dad in California was last seen by U.S. postal service tracking in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

 

It's a warehousing thing. If it would be inconvenient to send it directly there they send it to some other place that already has plans for a shipment to the destination state. I ordered a laptop that got sent from the U.S. to Colombia and then back to the U.S. before I got it for example.

 

Yep same one. She cut it too short, and I've had it at a good length for three months, then went today to get a simple trim to clean it up but maintain length, and now, I have to re-grow it again, and it won't be where it was again for a few months.

I even had a picture showing her exactly what I wanted and she still went too short. I feel like I'm never going to get the haircut I want because I always have to go back to square one.

 

I’ve officially reached the point in my summer break where I don’t know (or care) what day it is, or what time it is in some cases, but I don’t need to know either haha. I love it...that’s a true break lol.

 

I am just so tired.

 

Oh i'm sorry eric! Your hairdresser should talk to mine as mine didnt cut my hair short enough back when i had my pixie cut. I went back to her the next day to cut it more short and fix it. I guess they have their own preference so they dont cut it the way the client wants.

 

I think you're right. I feel like if you show them a picture they use it as guidelines and cut it how they want.

 

Had a really positive conversation with the cashier at a shop I go to every Saturday today. It was a little thing, but being called “buddy” and getting a “see you next week” (he recognised me!) really made me happy today. The fact that he’s cute may or may not have played into my mood...

 

Oooooooooh man. I just realised where I recognised him from: school. My reaction rn is some real Luke Skywalker “No! That’s impossible!”

Hey guys umm I just got back from my cousins wedding. It was a lot of fun. I hand a lot to drink. I had 2 beers and a glass of wine (wine helps me drink), and umma out 4 vodka drinks. I got another but I was like uhh that's enough. Now we're back at our hotel. Okay good night.

 

Oh, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. We have a Heat Advisory now. Looks like I'm doing absolutely nothing outdoors this weekend. I might melt if I do.

 

I just realized that I have really unpopular tastes in tv shows and movies. I tend to like to watch that other people generally dislike (not on purpose). Maybe I see the good in things that are unpopular? Or maybe, you know....I’m not a snob about what I watch like some people are? I don’t have to watch a masterpiece film or show to enjoy it. It does get lonely to not have anyone to share excitement in a new show with though haha, oh well.

I am trans..sorta. I identify as a male, but enjoy feminine things occasionally. My friend misgendered me and I did not correct him. I recently accepted myself. So, I feel as though he didn't realize the mistake as he is not used to it. Feeling odd..like I am offended, but calm about it. I think I am too used to hiding my gender I identify as from others as they don't seem to understand, to correct their pronouns they used. Should I have? Does it matter? He still sees me and treats me as a male..

 

Also, I don't think I've been on the site after the update until now. Why can't I have a custom orientation and out status anymore? This is super weird.
