Just thinking of Monday. I'll be bussing all day to SF for my top surgery consultation. That's going to be exhausting.

 

Learning a new language is challenging, but it’s also fun, rewarding, and exciting. I feel like I get better at learning it every day.

 

got new roommates! Things are looking up

 

My close friend who I came out to yesterday posted in social media our pics from recent get together.. it was ok, but she unintentionally put the icon of 2 girls holding hands lol I was laughing at the pics until I saw the icon.. silly girl!

 

My phone got messed up from a activate error. I got it fixed with the help of their support. I'm so glad I can get back in to my phone.

After working 6 days a week this last month and a half I finally get 3 days off this week

 

Made a trip to Western Michigan’s new alumni center today. It’s such a weird feeling being back on campus. That place is always going to be special to me, yet I’ll always be sore that I didn’t finish a degree there.

 

Not ready for summer...it’s too hot already!

 

Just tired.

 

I hope I don't have to work on a group project with the douchebag who decided everything without discussing things with anyone, and even opted out someone's name on our assignment on purpose.

I just want to fucking light something on fire. What a wretched night.

 

Every time I try to watch Mushishi, I get too relaxed and fall asleep. Seriously, it’s the most relaxing show I’ve ever seen lol. On another note, I could really go for some cold boba tea right about now, especially with how hot it’s been here lately.

 

An English teacher likes a video games series? Instead of cracking open a nice book? Oh, the sheer horror of it!

I remember returning to my old college for the first time in my late 20s. I grew up near it, and so (unlike most people) I have memories of being there for one reason or another growing up, like a class field trip to see something like a play. I went there a year, and then there was a several year break (during which I lived elsewhere). Returning the first time, and just seeing the place again was an "interesting experience." Remembering so much history. Seeing some things different. Seeing some things apparently changeless. And--oddest of all--feeling old for the first time there--the average student, who historically seemed so much older than me, now suddenly seemed a lot younger.
