In the past 10 months, I have watched quite a lot of gay YouTubers. It sure seems like all have their own fan clubs and you can never actually hear any discussion/debate about their videos.

What ones do you watch and what are your thoughts of them?

There are some who cover a great deal of LGBT topics and other things alongside coming across well, but some rub me the wrong way.

I don't actually follow any that I know are LGBT... I follow more for what they create than who they love.

However you will find most people have their fan club and you will rarely see anyone in it going against the crowd or criticize any thing. Unless the creator is producing something they don't like. Which I have only see one on a guy that does video game stuff; he has a devote group[ that freak out and complain anytime he doesn't upload the game they want him to.

Rags is one of my favorite Youtubers and he is bi and Thomas Sanders was one of my favorite Youtubers/Viners and he is gay.

I personally love both of them and they both make really good videos, whether it is about politics influencing the gaming industry or just some lighthearted comedy.

One who I avoid is DaveyWavey, purely due to the fact that he only ever seems to post sexualised content.

Some of the best ones include Mark E. Miller. His boyfriend seems nice as well but doesn't upload very often. I frequently watch Andrew Neighbors, but have heard that he isn't so nice off-camera. Trent and Luke are good for British/Australian representation as well.

They are all major YouTubers, there are some smaller ones who I also watch.

I follow a bunch of lesbian couples who are youtubers. I love them! I love seeing how happy they are. I also appreciate that they make the videos because I think for a lot of people, particularly people who live in conservative areas, it's a window into how other people live in different places, and provides positive exposure.

I don't know many but I started watching Mark Miller and his boyfriend Ethan after someone mentioned it on here, and they seem really cool and open about their lives.

A list of the ones I watch. (These are all lesbian couples.)
Jess and Mclane. My absolute favorite! Beautiful couple. I am majorly in love with Mclane.
Paige and Holly. New to youtube. Super sweet girls.
Sarah and Rachel. Also a great couple. They do a lot of Vlogs if you are into those.
UnsolicitedProject. Funny, and they do what's called "pillow talk Monday", where they discuss things of interest specifically to queer women. Both of the hosts are lesbians.

I agree - Mark and Ethan are great. I did get the impression that Mark tried too hard to be 'straight-acting' in some of his early videos, but that seems to have been toned down.

That depends on the individual as different LGBT people create different content and express different worldviews and opinions.

I personally only care about the content and since I am mostly interested in political and philosophical content as well as content surrounding everything metal, nerd culture and anime I am not subscribed to people who gain an audience solely through talking about their life as an LGBT person. However there are some people among those content creators I watch who fall into the category of LGBT though it is not or at least not primarily the subject their content is about.

Hannah Hart and Arielle Scarcella. Saw someone mention Shane Dawson, I use to watch his stuff forever ago, it's been awhile though.

I used to watch quite a few smaller LGBT youtubers, I've noticed recently however that many of them haven't uploaded anything in a long time, have privated all of their content or have deleted their channels entirely.. Maybe something to do with the changing political climate, I don't know. There are still plenty of more mainstream channels left but many of those don't appeal to me.

This was a fun YouTube stream with multiple gay YouTubers. All seemed like great guys.

I do not watch youtubers that much, but there's one gay youtuber from my country, called Kovy, that I know about. He came out about half a year ago. He's supposedly our most famous youtuber and it was a pretty big surprise for many people who watch his videos. Fortunately vast majority of his followers took it very positively.

I haven't watched them in a while, but I loved Ash Hardell, Chandler N Wilson, and Jessica Kellgren-Fozard.

I used to watch a lot of smaller youtubers who were LGBT but lately most of them seem to have either deleted their channel entirely, made all of their content private or not uploaded anything for literally years. I guess if they feel like it's not worth doing any more or they no longer enjoy making videos then that's fair enough. I do sometimes wish I could still watch them though.. One thing I don't like about the more "mainstream LGBT" youtubers is how they seem to feed on and encourage stereotypes and how they have to make everything come back to being LGBT, I just find it boring after a while. Maybe I'm being a bit cynical but I feel like some of them just use the novelty of being LGBT to entertain straight people and make a fleeting career out of it.

I love Rose & Rosie, and Sarah & Rachel. They provide me with the hope for a beautiful sapphic relationship like theirs.... one day... hopefully... maybe... Also Jessica Kelgren-Fozard (she's so hot omg and she and her wife are also really cute) and Gaby Dunn is pretty cool. Oh, also I love Ellosteph! She just seems so sweet and just a genuinely really good and supportive person.

Oh and also I really liked Chandler N Wilson as well as Ash Hardell but I don't follow their content so much anymore.
