I need to do more walking. Drive far too much.

It would be nice having someone to walk to. I usually end up walking alone
Btw I use to walk when I feel bad, it's a 'safe' distraction

Good to hear this. I really like walking. It clears my mind and I feel more 'free' than being stuck in a public transport or a car. Also I can better observe my surroundings. Unless the weather is horrible or I feel sick, I tend to walk every day, either to school in the morning, or from school, or to shop, or anywhere else, but at least once per day.

I like cycling more than walking, but in the place I live now I don't feel safe with a bike

I walk a lot since I don't have a car. I could, in theory, ride the bus round trip from my doorstep. But it works better to walk at times, and I figure I can use the exercise.

In the past, though, I thought swimming was better exercise. But it has a huge drawback in the cost. It would run at least $40/month for pool admission, which is hugely painful for my 2018 finances.

I also really like cycling, but my bike is currently broken and I still had no time to take it to the repair shop. However once my final High School exams are gone, I'll take it there. Anyway, why don't you feel safe with a bike? You mean that there's a high risk of it being stolen or something else?

There aren't streets/paths for only bikes here. And riding with cars and careless drivers is unsafe. I used to go to school with my bike, but I risked to be hit sometimes. People didn't respect cyclists here Hopefully next year I'll move and in the new city I can take the bike again

I used to jog at least twice a week, but I haven't had time to do that in a long time. I walk a lot, but I miss running. I'm not sure if walking alone is enough exercise. I hope it is.

Go and join parkrun its free, you don't have to run, you can just walk and seems the slower you are the more encouragement you get.
