omg this is big. i went next door to see what my dad was doing up around his new greenhouse. we chatted for a bit, talking banking etc. he mentioned that the bank told him that he was near his credit limit because he signed for a loan for me, it's almost paid off, and he hoped nothing happened to his son because he'd have to finish the loan. he said, because she's now my daughter! thats the first time he's said that oh my god! im his daughter! oh lord thank you.

Victory #1: For a while, I wasn't sure if my gender dysphoria was legitimate, or if I was just angry and disappointed in the fact that I would never live up to the standards of being a woman. But I recently found out something unexpected: studies have shown that a lot of transgender people (especially transgender men) have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I was diagnosed with Aspeger's Syndrome when I was 10, so to me, this legitimized my feelings about my gender. It wasn't because I felt incapable of living up to someone else's standards: I felt that I was in the wrong gender because I was in the wrong gender! It's made me feel so much better about myself.

Victory #2: When I was a teenager, my older sister would tease me about how she had a d-cup and I was stuck with a measly a-cup (which I only wore because they didn't make anything smaller :sob:) Now that I've realized I'm transgender, I also realize that I could hide my breasts with a really good compression bra, while my sister (who is gender neutral) has to use an expensive binder to hide her gigantic melons. :joy:

I hope you don't tell anything about the #2 victory to your sister, or she might be hit by dysphoria. Poor sis

So transwomen are diagnosed too with ASD? I have a story character who is a transwoman with asperger's. So I'm interested in this. Write on my wall. xD

I'm pretty sure she realizes it already, and sees it more as karma than dysphoria.

I'm sorry to be the one to point this out, but here it's better to write in English  I kind of understood what you wrote (you know, I'm Italian and what you wrote has a "familiar sound" to me), but for others it could be more difficult to understand so.. English please? ;-)

After the past couple days of work, my legs and arms have been killing me, so I've been limping around everywhere, and my mom commented that "[I'm] walking like an old man".
She typically always uses female-gendered words with me all the time, but this made me so happy that she said I was walking like an old man!

We went out to dinner to celebrate mother's day, and I decided to come out to my parents and older sister. Apparently they know me better than I thought they did: they already suspected I was trans, and were totally cool with it. Granted, my mom said that, although she would respect my wishes (to a degree), until I actually had a penis, she would always see me as her daughter (but I expected that, so it's not a big deal). I was actually really surprised by how well my dad took it. I at least expected a little confusion, but it didn't even phase him! Kas (my older sister) is gender neutral, so the fact that she's cool with it didn't surprise me. They also thought that the name I chose was a little goofy, even though it was a tribute to my grandparents, but that doesn't really bother me.

So next week I have my court hearing to get my legal name changed!! I'm super excited!!

Two weeks ago, I had an eye doctor's appointment, and I was annoyed with being dead named so much that I told the woman examining my eyes that I preferred to be called Romeo. She responded very well and immediately corrected herself, she even made a change in the computer system so my gender shows up as male and it shows Romeo as my preferred name.
I went in on Thursday to get my new glasses, and the receptionist called me Romeo and used the right pronouns for me. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

I just recorded myself playing guitar and singing Hurt by Johnny Cash. Playing back to myself, I realize how much my voice dropped to be able to sing this... I never thought I could love the way my voice sounds

Been working out a lot more for about a year now. I’m seeing good results as far as muscle goes and it is making me feel more masculine. I love it. For once in a long time I was able to wake up, look in the mirror, and think to myself “man I look good”

Oh f***, I realized now that I had made a big gaffe because you're transgender... the other way around. Sorry.

Parental progress report: I came out to them yesterday, and apparently my dad has already started referring to me as his "middle child" instead of his "middle daughter." Since I thought he would have the most trouble with pronouns, this makes me extremely happy.

Por favor, ¿podrías escribir en inglés? Sólo hay unas pocas personas que hablan español aquí. Deberías usar inglés si quieres que la mayoría de los usuarios te entiendan.
