For those who haven't seen it, in the film a man repeats the same day over and over.

I should really get a hobby or something, do something new. So bored.

No, but sometimes I think that my whole life is a TV show. I've often thought that I'm being filmed all the time. Sometimes I see people scurrying away running with camera equipment, lighting and power units. Whenever I stray more than a couple!e of miles in any direction from my house I always get turned back by policemen or firemen or soldiers. So, I just turn around and head back home.

Yes I do. I'm so bored with my life, even with my hobbies.

I think that is an issue when you either have the wrong hobbies or you aren't going for them full force. Try narrowing down what you are into.

Then do it! Nothing feels better than when you get really good at something.

That sounds more like "The Truman show" than "Groundhog day".

Oh wait. His response was a joke, wasn't it? @Richard321 put a basic plot summary of "The Truman show" as a humorous response to this thread. Admittedly I missed that at first, I thought he literally meant that's what he experiences and I wondered if Truman syndrome (where someone actually believes that their life is a TV show) could be a possibility.

That's the problem with written communication I guess, easier to miss things. :face_palm: I wondered for a moment why your reply seemed sarcastic, but I get it now. Haha....

I tried to make it look like my serious answer. Well done for getting it. I like to humour myself.

Fair enough, although I'll admit that I felt a bit foolish at first for not getting it right away. :face_palm: Oh well, these things happen.

    Thanks, @bi dystopia

Actually, I do suffer Truman Syndrome... Well, I did... But not since I started waking up immersed in a fluid with an air tube in my trachea, a feeding tube in my upper abdomen, and what seem like power cables coming out of my body. And I see others around me in a similar plight. I am now questioning my reality - whether I'm being fed a false reality or whether these were nightmares...

Sometimes when my depression plays up I feel like I'm living the same situation over and over.

But generally no, there's so much drama that goes on at work that if I could pick one of the less drama filled days and just repeat that one it'd be great

I’m not depressed or anything but it does feel like groundhog days sometimes. Just the whole routine of getting up from work and coming home....then repeat. Especially during the winter when there’s nothing to do outside. Thank god for this site

Same. I often feel like I'm on repeat which makes everything boring, even when it comes to hobbies/things I enjoy.

You are all in the Matrix with me. You can choose your dreams. So don't keep choosing the same one. Opt for a different dream each day.

    Just kidding of course.

    Or am I?

I’m living the dream...for the most part.
