BlueNeon....Yeah...writing a book in the next few weeks is probably not high on you agenda! I couldn't help but think that your story could be such an inspiration to others. So keep that in mind. Sometime in the next few years think about it, seriously! I follow a Trans FtM youtuber from the UK named Alex Berite. I have watched his videos from when he was 16 and just really understanding that he was Trans, up until now at 22 he has transitioned and is an amazing guy. He took about two months or so and worked with a publishing company. They helped him and his book was published last December. So you see...it can happen and I think your story would be picked up by a publisher! You are amazing...keep us all posted here on EC how things continue to develop. We are rooting for you!

So glad you’re through it because it couldn’t have easy. I wish there was more I could or say but I just wanted to say that I am inspired. Know that whether you write a book or not you inspired someone. Even though you may have lost somethings that you had to leave behind, you got the freedom to be yourself. It won’t be easy but it is worth fighting for.

BlueNeon.... I forgot to tell you in my last post that I have shared you story with several of my LGBTQ friends and they were all very impressed and very, very proud that you are part of our LGBTQ family!

This will probably be my last update in this thread, although I'm sure I'll post more about it in other threads. The court ruled in my favor today. I've been emancipated. After getting my paperwork all in order and confirming that I can just drop into the student housing office at the college to pick up my apartment key as soon as I arrive, I paid for a taxi ride to the airport and bought my ticket. It's so strange to think that I'll be in Seattle starting a new life by dinnertime tonight.

I, also, am thinking of you and wishing you a good future. Your requiring an Emancipation Ruling in your favour, does that mean that you are under 18, or under 21? Here in the UK its all different. 16 here is now adulthood, but voting and drinking here are 18. To be an Member of Parliament here is 21 I think. There are a few nuances within all of this.

Richard321...Here in the States you are an adult at 18. Drinking at 21, pretty much everything else at 18.

I think it's hilarious the way the age limits here work... at 21 you can drink, vote, buy a car, fly a helicopter for the military.... yet you aren't allowed to rent a car for a few days until you're 25. Such an arbitrary age limit lol.

Niagara...Interesting, I wasn't aware of that! I wonder if it's like that in all states?
