    Morning shower reflection. “You need feelings to reflect on who you are."

    My comment on this saying. This is so clear. It answers why I could not discover who I was in my mid teens, mainly because my feelings were turned off. Turned off to survive. Turned off to weather abuse.

    Ever watch or listen to Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”? If not go check out. If you have but it’s been a while, maybe watch/listen to it again.

    I would not be surprised if you find new meaning from it.

    Yes, very profound observation. I agree. I've spent a lot of time pushing my feelings away and staying in a numb state (comfortably numb, if we're talking Pink Floyd :slight_smile:). Now I'm in an alive state and everything I've ignored for years is flooding my mind. It's painful, but maybe good in the long run. That remains to be seen for me, I guess. Thanks for sharing.
