I've watched this trailer about 5 times already! This film looks so good! Now my question is should I see the movie first, or get the book and read that really quick before the movie comes out?

IDK if it counts, and I feel like by calling it a gay movie I'm spoiling a major plot twist, BUT I Dream in Another Language was pretty good, ending was sort of corny but overall nice movie & well-made. Martin and Lluvia are both very good looking, but Lluvia is a snack tbh. Also Summertime wasn't bad, a lot of lesbian movies are poorly made and it makes me sad but this one honestly wasn't bad at all. Delphine is soo hot. And this one is one everyone knows but I just saw it twice a couple weeks ago and I can't get the songs out of my head: Rocky Horror Picture Show. Everything about it, I just love. Man I wish I had seen it sooner, I was aware of it as a cultural phenomenon and all but always thought it was probably silly and overrated. Boy was I wrong. Great film, and I love the representation of sexuality as fluid.

Same. I want to see it, but I can see people questioning why I want to see it. I guess I'll just wait until it comes to Amazon Video and see if I can rent or buy it there.

I watched Love, Simon this weekend and it was amazing. Nick Robinson is hot. and Josh Duhamel is hot, as always. Jennifer Garner being in it, though, was the best. Duhamel's always been one of my celebrity crushes but I think J-Garn is officially one as well.

It was my first watching an LGBT movie in a theater or doing anything pro-LGBT in public. So, I'm finally starting to take baby steps in terms of going to pro-LGBT events/doing pro-LGBT things in person/public.

I recently came out to my parents, but its been a quiet acceptance. I brought to them, over the phone, that I saw the movie and while they were slightly hesitant in responding I think I made the right move in mentioning.

I actually felt really uncomfortable reading Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda (the book Love Simon is based on)... Simon's best friend fetishes gay guys and Simon acts like lesbian and bisexual women are more privileged than he is because "men think its hot". I've heard from one of my friends that the movie doesn't include this thank god :/

    Anyway, LGBTQ movies I've seen:
    - Brokeback Mountain
    - But I'm A Cheerleader
    - Milk
    - Carol
    - Pride (2014)
    - Being Seventeen
    - Moonlight
    - The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls In Love
    - The Birdcage
    - GBF (I watched this movie as a joke, it sucks fyi)
    - Heavenly Creatures

Also, this is a TV show but I think I should mention it for those of you looking for LGBT things to watch- Skam focuses on a different character every season and in season 3 its about a gay guy and the storyline is AMAZING. Fantastic and moving, and just aaah you should watch it.

Anyone watched My Days of Mercy? I've been planning on watching this for awhile, but of course it's no where to be found. It definitely wasn't in theaters near me, which I feel it was only in select theaters. And I read there was going to be a premiere in the UK on March 21st which just ruins my hopes of finding it online or dvd to purchase anytime soon. But definitely would love to give it a view. I wish we were advanced like a good 10 years ahead so LGBT movies weren't always just select theaters and so hard to find. Waiting sucks, especially when there's not a wide variety of LGBT films to begin with.

Beautiful Thing is one of my favorites. It's like a grittier, British version of Love, Simon. I also love The Boys in the Band but my guess is a lot of people on here would hate it. I liked Priest, Torchsong Trilogy, A Single Man, Longtime Companion.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but the Youtube channel "Girl Ship TV" has a series called "Drunk lesbians watch" where wlw watch lesbian movies, humorous commentary included. Found a lot of movies through it that I'm planning to see.

I’ve seen a TON of lesbian movies but my favourites are The Carmilla Movie, Girltrash: All Night Long, and But I’m A Cheerleader.

I really want to see Disobedience when it comes out on April. 27th.

Same here. I haven't seen Rachel Weisz in anything for a while so it's cool to see her make a comeback & Rachel McAdams was really good in Spotlight. The movie looks promising!

I just recently watched "Me, Myself, and Her." It's an ok one, tackled about a relationship between a lesbian and bisexual adults.
