    my son and i put up our tree last night and i came home tonight and the house was decorated. im grateful for my son doing this for his mom. im grateful when he said he missed my cooking at dinner. i grateful i had the resources to figure out a tough situation this past few days, and a plan going forward.

    i would have posted this yesterday but i was sleeping off the meds from surgery. today i am grateful for the fact that the follow up surgery i had yesterday to check what was done this summer went perfectly, the doctor said 'you're perfect' if only he meant it, haha. so for this today i am gratefull. should only need one more follow up in a year.

    I am grateful for the kind of work I do ( geriatric health care). It has been a very busy week. Long hours. Not much time off. Varying shifts.
    But now for the next two weeks I will have time off. Can enjoy the holidays. And get to relax and recharge. Very grateful.

    I am grateful for a few things.. top of mind, My life makes me laugh, it feels good to push back against the norm and not worrying about conforming. I am grateful that my wife is able to be herself and seems really happy. I am grateful that life feels positive again. :slight_smile:

    today i grateful for Christmas, i love this time of year. im grateful i have my shopping done, that i have my family home, that i have started this path, and that the HRT is having such positive effects on my body and mind. i tried on a dress today that i bought yesterday at a second hand store and i saw that i have a shape, a figure. holy moley. for all this i am grateful.

    today i am grateful for acceptance, and love. i came out to my younger brother and niece and all i got from them was both of these. honestly, the best thing i could have gotten this Christmas day.

    today im grateful that I got my damaged tire replaced free of charge at the local tire place, glad I got the warranty on them. no installation or other charges, the guy just said go to work and Happy New Year, the warranty is all good.

    I am grateful that my new year is starting off in a positive way. Got a call from my job, and my work schedule has changed. For the better. A more consistent schedule from week to week. No varying shifts. One shift every week, the same shift every week. Some stability. Yay!

    I'm so very grateful for my mom today. She lives far away but is visiting. I've been going through a lot, and was wishing I had the kind of relationship with my mom where I could just openly vent. I felt I couldn't because she was awful when she found out I was possibly gay in high school. I'm 39 now, and finally, I think she's fully accepted that there is nothing wrong with me in that sense. We had a great heart-to-heart last night. Thank you mom!

    I think I'll be starting a new thread in the coming out forum about our journey...

    My step-dad has had a heart attack, but seems to be doing OK. I'm grateful that he is being looked after. It makes me realise how much I take life for granted.
