No my data is too slow to click on extra links. I have to choose priority. So here it is.
    Why?

That is so cool! The truth is change only comes when important figures take it upon themselves to help normalize the LGBT. If people only have urban legends and stereotypes to associate a movement with, you won't get anywhere. Perhaps, even worse, you'll be faced with backlash. However, if respectable people make the decision to come out, you can't spew the word "degenerate" and "perversion" around just as easily. If the doctor that treated thousands of patients, the politician who's loved by the crowds, the soldier who's served loyally, the judge that made society better by upholding equity are publicly gay, that goes to show anyone - regardless of sexual orientation - can do their job responsibly and bring about improvement in their communities. It's harder to spew hate speech after that point, it's harder to deny fundamental liberties and despise a group in society that a relative or friend most likely falls into.

It's nice to hear some positive news for once, perhaps this can mark the start of progress.

As depressing as the world has been, it's good to have a reminder that some still retain their sense and compassion.

What an awesome individual! It's really courageous of him to extend that kind of support and open up his home to other LGBTQ people in need. He's my new hero!
