No idea how many of you will remember me, but, I'm back! I live in a small country called New Zealand (yes, we have sheep; no, we don't ride them) and I'm 23 years old (I'm still not used to that, it seems so much older than 22). I have experienced many different things over my life, and I'm told I'm pretty good at advice, or at least listening. I don't know if wall messaging is still a thing, but if so, you're welcome to stop by and say hi I assume private messages are still restricted, but you're welcome to message me there too if you're able (assuming I can still receive them). I haven't logged in for a few years, and so much has changed! I see the new platform was finally introduced It's nice, but it doesn't have that homely feel anymore - for me at least. I'm sure that will change as I get used to it! It's very streamlined, though! For those of you who don't know me (and there's probably a lot of you), my name is Oliver. I am a non-binary transmasculine person, and I identify as a panromantic gray-asexual. I'm totally open to questions, provided they fit within ECs rules (which I will brush up on). I graduated as a vet nurse last year, and own two cats and many rats (I lost count). I no longer live with my family, although see them regularly. I'm currently unable to work due to a series of unfortunate events resulting in injury, so spend a lot of the time watching Netflix (binging it, actually. So uh, that's me! I look forward to meeting all these new faces, and perhaps bumping into familiarity. (Also, what's the dealio with these trophy things? I got 4 when I logged in just now!)
Welcome back I started being active just a few days ago but I guess familiar faces are always welcomed well! I actually hope we both get to thrive in this place (again in your case). May I ask what a gray-asexual is exactly? And I never spoke to a non-binary person before so, nice to meet you! I don't understand much the deal with trophies or wall messaging and why PMs are not a thing but I love the forum so that's what counts to me (for now :3). again, nice meeting you!
I certainly thrived the first time I was here! I joined when I was still at highschool. I attended an all girls school, and had very few friends. When I initially came out (as a lesbian), I lost the few I did have. I guess they were scared I was going to hit on them or something? Idk. Anyway, I ended up in a really dark place, and this place helped a lot. Everyone defines their sexuality differently, but I define gray-asexuality for myself as a spectrum between experiencing little to no sexual attraction towards people. It's also completely separate from sex drive - which is something people often get confused with. You can have a high sex drive but not experience attraction, and have a low sex drive and high sexual attraction. If EC is much the same as it was when I left, you'll soon meet more non binary folk! Nice to meet you too! I'm sure we'll bump into each other in future
Why can't I like this post? Unfair, EC I'm in high school too. Girls avoid me and I don't get along with most boys. They all are your typical straight jocks/nerds. Smh... So I see your dilemma. Oh I see. I have a high sexual attraction most of the time but my sex drive can be pretty low sometimes. It sucks when it comes to... self-pleasure c: I'm excited to get to know non-binary people. I accept it obviously but still can't understand it deeply, so, I can't wait! Having no friends irl sucks a lot of butts. And the gay community sucks in Tunisia here. Not only aren't they my type, but gay is a crime and they barely think it's unfair. How even? Imagine the torture.
I'm sorry to hear things aren't going well at school. I understand, though. Throughout my schooling I was too "girly" to fit in with the boys, but too "boyish" to fit with the girls. Hopefully you can make lots of new friends here! And maybe one day they'll decriminalize it. Homosexuality was illegal here, too, until 1986 or something, and now we have gay marriage!
Hullo there! I'm just a jump away from you, in Australia I'd love to chat with ya whenever- you seem awesome and also props to you for graduating Vet Science, I hope you've been able to do what you love (barring your series of unfortunate events).
Hello! It's always nice to meet the neighbours feel free to message any time, and I'll reply when I'm online. Unfortunately I've met been able to work as a veterinary nurse yet, due to a sizeable number of physical injuries. But, hopefully I'll be able to soon! I'm working with a team of specialists and such, so fingers crossed.
Hey I'm glad to hear that you have been doing well! It's good to see you back around. It seems crazy how much can change in what seems like a short period of time.
It really is! And it's good to be back I don't think you were staff when I was last here, so congrats!
When were you last on? I remember reading your posts, but I forget when you were last active. I know it has been a good bit though.
I replied to a few wall messages about a year or two ago, but I don't think I've posted in maybe 2 or 3?
