After I told a friend, he said 'I don't mind as long as you don't shag me while I'm sleeping', which is funny because another friend and I had a bet that he's going to say those exact words.

I told a good friend that I'm bigender and her response was to tell me she is bisexual! So my coming out to her made her come out to me!

So I was in this group chat on Facebook and I said "for those of you who didn't know... I'm about as straight as a circle..."
So now a few months have passed I'm taking to this girl in the chat and I was talking about something and she goes
"Coming out?" I was like yeah... I'm gay
"Then she goes "what how did I not know this?"
I'm like I said on the group chat I'm about as straight as a circle...
"Oh I thought it was a joke"
    2 seconds later
Her:"Iwwouldn't have told you before but seeing as it won't happen now, I've had a crush on you since the end of summer"
*Me glad that they can't see your reaction *shock cryinglaughter

So they assumed you were 'acting'? Why would they even think that you were doing that? Going so overboard for a joke...???

No...I just appear very camp and no one questioned that, but did not think I was actually gay.

There's several that were kind of funny.
There was one time when this girl who lives in our dorm hall was talking about how many guys she'd dated.

R: I’ve dated every guy on this floor.
    Me: You haven’t dated me.
K: Starrabbit says you haven’t dated him.
    R: Trust me. We dated.
Me: No we haven’t. I’m gay for fuck’s sake.
    K: He has a boyfriend.
R: I’m gonna steal your boyfriend.
    Me: Goddamn it.
It was pretty funny in retrospect.

I was sharing an apartment with a fellow athlete at an international event. I came out to her, I felt I would run better if I could be myself.
Her response was: What! am I the last one in the club to know!
    No [ other athlete] knows.
Good....... I have good ‘gaydar’...I thought you were just gay friendly!

Back when I was still trying to convince myself that I wasn't a trans male, I came out as non-binary to a gay friend. He grinned really wide and said, "I had a feeling it was something like that!"

I came out to 2 separate holistic therapists. I told them in 1-1s in separate meetings that I don't feel myself and that things were on my mind.

One of them I told "I'm attached but I'm also interested in men"...she looked at me..."I feel that a male has come into your life...is that right?" Me: "yes". Therapist: "and you have been sexually intimate with him, right?" Me: "er, yes". Therapist: "yes, I could tell by your aura. You are empathic towards males and can make deep and meaningful connections to them. It's completely fine, the universe does not judge, it only vibrates on a wavelength of love". Me: "umm, ok..."

The other female therapist conversation went like this: "So (in a thick Arnie schwarzenegger Austrian accent)...what is on your mind?" Me: "I've become much more sexually attracted to men lately". Therapist: "Oh do not worry, I was a lesbian in Los Angeles in the 80s...it was all the rage and I loved it!" Me: "umm, ok..."

Glad I told them though. Lifted an invisible burden from my shoulders.

Girl who had a crush on me:
Her: I just don't get why you don't like me back.
Me: If I tell you why, would it make you feel better?
    Her: Yeah.
Me: It's because I like guys.
    Her: Are you joking?
    Me: *shakes head*
Her: I'm so confused. You act so straight.....are you sure you aren't bi?

I came out to my mom and after thinking for a while she said, "Maybe you're just not occupying your mind enough. You need to get a job and work will push that right out of your mind." When I told her I still thought about it when I had a job and worked 16-hour shifts her only reply was, "Oh."
This coming from someone who's workday ends at 5 but is happy to stay upwards of 7 or 8 pm. Such a Mom thing to think lol

I have a few. I came out to my crush (who did not know i liked her until a week or so after) as Bi. We were at lunch with friends and i whispered it in her ear before saying it out loud to everyone else. She squealed so loudly other people looked over at us. Then my friends heard and were like "Coo."

Scary coming out with no response yet. Yesterday in Science we made an end of the year ID Card. On the back was a bunch of questions from the teacher. One was, What is something I don't know about you? I literally came out. "I identify as Agender and prefer They/Them pronouns. I prefer Layn over my given birth name and am not out to my parents."
I have no clue what my teacher thinks yet. I have to wait til Tuesday to find out.
