Thanks. Yeah I tend not to smile a lot, even if happy, as for some reason the photo just doesn't look as good but will have to try to do some more smiley ones. Will also try the tip with the hair.

Everyone says that about the glasses. but I thought they were too masculine. lol Guess not. Even I look in the mirror now and sometimes think "Damn, I'm starting to get cute, yay!"

Please grow your hair long(ish) soon as you can. They're beautiful.

As far as passability goes though, is the hair mainly what's holding me back?

 

Yep, and the high forehead (which involves hair) and the masculine clothing.

 

I present as female 100%. But my problem is that physically I have such a masculine look, I feel like the only way for me to look female would be surgery. Makeup helps, but isn't a fix all. I had my colors done, so I have a good start on that front I guess. Even tho here where I live, everyone sees a woman when I'm out, I'm still scared to post an actual pic of myself online. I have a gofundme page hoping for donations to go for plastic surgery. Also my voice is deeper than the Grand Canyon. Not the slightest bit even in the realm of feminine. I am working with a speech pathologist, and undergoing electrolysis, so that's a start. But to sum up, I'm the ugliest girl you could see. I do get called ma'am about 75-80% of the time. The ones that say sir, usually apologize and correct themselves without me asking. So that's one victory.

 

Yeah, I'm hoping to get those things fixed soon.

Have you seen Stef Sanjati's videos on YouTube? She's recently had facial feminisation surgery and it's completely changed her outlook on herself, physically and she's so much happier. Plus she's cute and makes cool videos so it'd be worth checking her out anyway. Also take into account all those people gendering you correctly, 80% of people are seeing a woman when they see you, don't forget that. Our own views and how we perceive ourselves can over cloud what's actually there.

 

Everyone is always their harshest critic. But still I virtually make myself sick when I look in the mirror.

I'm not trying to come off conceited, but as a kid I was fairly attractive. But that was also 15 years and 100 pounds ago.

I've put on a lot of weight, mostly due to medication, and aged worse than I ever thought I would. To look at me, in my opinion I look twice as old as I actually am. And I'm only 35.

 

hey y'all, i took this about a month ago at the final appointment with my gender counselor before she went on maternity leave its as close as i've taken/shared with a 'bare face' no make up, just some lipstick. what do you all think?

Dude you actually look just like the guy from your avatar... In my opinion you are very masculine, and look in your mid teens probably (like... seventeen). Looking good bro.
