so I went to the date last night it was great. we met at a coffee shop, she came enfem and I came from work so I was in guy mode sadly but we chatted and laughed and smiled all night for like 4 hours, we have a lot in common in our pasts and in a lot of ways for our futures, both trans but she's not quite ready to go full time for a lot of reasons and im slowly getting to my break out point next spring. but all in all I had a great time and she's coming to our pflag support meeting tonight too. I didn't get home till like 12:30am, but don't mind that as I really enjoyed myself.

i had a letter from my therapist, so was able to get my scripts on the first visit because it was clear this was what I wanted.

Also, seperate victory of my own, I think i'm maybe finally going full time female since I've come out at work, and next week get my new name finalized.

I USED THE BOYS BATHROOM AT SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!

Okay a little confession, I used it four hours after school had finished while Girl Guides was on (therefore the chance of any boys being in the school very very slim) but I'd previously been too scared to venture in, even then. I want to come out in school as trans masculine and feel comfortable using either the boy's or the girl's toilets but to be honest I'm too scared of the boys to do that.

I came out by chat to not-so-near friends in a creepy way, describing a character who cuts the throat of his female-double who stands in front of himself, a splatter scene, oh I can't ever come out normally, without laughing or without at least a glass of wine, whatever. They're gonna call me Daniel *_*

I'm pre everything and this summer I'd been working on a fair. I had to wear the female version of the uniform (which accentuates curves a bit more etc.), I had shoulder length hair, boobs and my voice sounds like the voice of an eight-year old boy, but still miraculously people called me "sir" well-counted 8 times in the two weeks I was working there. I honestly don't understand how that's possible. Obviously I felt proud, but I also felt a bit confused about it.

Does being tired of hiding it and ready to do something rash(like post it on Facebook before coming out to the rest of my family) count as a victory? Cause that's me right now. Fuck the consequences, mom and dad are getting a talk by October 1st.

oh i hear you sweetie. make it small steps. well that's my usual way of doing things anyway. talk with your parents first would be my advise. just in case that brings up problems that would be made worst by being out. hugs

I volunteered at a festival and I was not misgendered at all. I got lots of sir's and he's and someone even asked my friend if I was her boyfriend. It was great

Actually a big victory.. I graduated from basic training yesterday and am now in AIT. I'm no longer a trainee in basic, I'm now a real soldier. I am so happy.

ok im counting a couple victories here; 1. my son came home from the university for the weekend. ok he's been home every weekend since he started but any time I get to have him home is a victory for me. and 2. we were carrying on, wrestling and such and he smacked me on the butt when I was getting up because I pinned him. then exclaimed jesus you got some jiggle there mom.....haha. it was super funny at the time but I guess the HRT is working? lol

I didn't think my face had changed very much but I had to replace my student ID today and I definitely think my new picture is a lot more masculine...still not a very good picture, but ID pics are usually not that good.

Something happened the other day that left me smiling. First off, I bought some shirts that, while neutral appearance-wise, probably classified technically as men's shirts, and my mom didn't freak out  and what's else? When the guy who rung up my stuff handed me my receipt, he called me "young man" and it felt AWESOME. And mom didn't hear him, so she couldn't correct him (and she's done that before in the past; a guy called me "he" and she corrected him and I felt humiliated. NOT THIS TIME).

I've been thinking about trying to get my hands on a binder since before I came out as trans. Yesterday, after almost 2 years of hesitating and worrying about how and when to do that, I said "screw it, I'm doing this" and I ordered one.

Got lots of cute comfy undies on Amazon, and threw out most of my boxers except a few pairs I sleep in.

As stupid as it may sound.
After I felt humiliated by my mother's use of the word "tits" about me, I found a name for my chest: "upper feature", which in italian sounds like "superior feature".
    I have a Superior Feature u.u

I finally saw a counselor and got to talk about what i've been thinking. It felt so good to just talk to someone. I have another appointment on thursday and i'm hoping for more progress to be made in the future on trying to figure out my gender!

I ended up coming out to one of my friends today.
I got a subtle LGBT bracelet that I wasn't planning on wearing today, but I forgot I had it on, so they seen it and now I guess I'm out to them.
