What are you thinking?

Had four job interviews last week, then a phone interview on Monday that was quickly followed by an interview at the store the following day....except there were two of those stores on the same street and I made the mistake of going to the wrong store, a problem me and the manager didn't realize in till the interview was over and she had me pull up the email just to be sure. She called the other store to inform them of that, and they told me to head on over, but before I left she gave me her number and told me that if they didn't hire me she would.
Get to the correct store and find out that one or two others went to the wrong store as well, but had my interview and was offered a job.

So now how do you do get over the nervousness of starting your first real job?

 

My dad doesn't have much ammunition when it comes to trump anymore.

Yep glad he's got no "well he's wants to..." or "the news doesn't show".

 

I can't stop thinking about really bad things that happened in my past and I don't want to think about any of it.

 

While Bowie died over a year ago, I'm becoming very depressed thinking about his passing. I wish there were more people in the world like him. Such a beautiful soul.

 

Is it strange to feel sexier after gaining a bit of weight? Not that I'm obese (I'm barely in the "normal" category, for once), but knowing I have parts to grab and don't have to worry over being crushed by a partner is quite the confidence booster! ^^

 

Sometimes I just feel so alone, despite being surrounded by people... :/

 

Ungrateful little bastard. Go ahead and sign for Barcelona. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I'd be more concerned about the coastal area like the Galveston and Houston area. We'll find out sometime tonight. There was a billboard on I-35N saying do not travel to the coastal area.

 

They are saying inland as much as San Antonio is in danger all the way to Louisiana by Tuesday.

Why would someone ever head back in?

Just stay safe down there.

 

I hope that the people in Texas are staying safe. Harvey is now a category 4 storm...

 

People are silly. I'm in the DFW area but I'm flying out to SFO so I'll be fine. I texted AlamoCity earlier today and he mentioned some people were freaking out. I know my bf's family is staying safe. They went to go pick up my bf's brother from the A&M Kingsville campus recently. I saw UTSA is shutting down. One of the guests I helped check out last night is heading down to provide hurricane relief.

 

I'm going to a festival tomorrow! It will be nice to get out of the house for a bit on one of my days off and have some fun. Usually I'm just hanging out at home on my 2 days off. That, or getting called into work anyways..

 

Why it is that no matter what I do, I'm never happy for more than one day?

 

Today is the pride festival in my town! I'm excited because it is the first one that this town is having. I also get to get out of the house for a bit, so that is nice as well.

 

I seriously hope all our ECers in the path of this hurricane are okay. I went through a tropical storm in Florida once, and that was bad enough for me.

 

I had so much fun at Akron pride. I ended up volunteering for a bit because they had some spots open still! It was nice to be able to get out and see some people that I had not seen in a long time.
