Right now I'm in the middle of reading:
Love Wins by Debbie Cenziper and Jim Obergefell
    Mirror Touch by Joel Salinas
A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
...and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
I also have a couple of ebooks I never finished reading but come back to every now and then.

Tiopa Ki Lakota by D Jordan Redhawk. It's really interesting and a great lesbian romance as well.

I just finished "The Stupidest Angel" by Christopher Moore. I enjoyed "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" more but both are very funny if you don't mind dark humor. I am reading Carl Sagan's "Contact" now so will report back on that soon.

Love Borges. All of his short stories can benefit from multiple reads.

    I just read:

The Prague Cemetery by Umberto Eco
The Kitchen God's Wife by Amy Tan
    A Maggot by John Fowles
    Harlot's Ghost by Norman Mailer

Sorry this took me forever to respond too, but yeah we actually will be reading that later in the year so that should be good. I didn't actually mind the Iliad, I just thought it was long.

I just finished Blister by Jeff Strand

It wasn't what I expected when I picked it up, but I really enjoyed it. It had some excellent twists and surprises IMO.
