When you stay awake at night thinking about how much you wish you could get rid of your breasts entirely and just somehow get a damn penis.

I just don't think I'm strong enough to actually do it. Plus my current living/financial situation sucks.

    • when you find yourself hoping something bad happens to you, just so you could have the perfect excuse to throw away your life as a woman and start living as a man and when I say "something bad" I mean being hurted in a car accident / being raped / being stabbed in the lower abdomen / ecc... I know, something is really messed up in my head, but it's only a "fantasy", not something I really want or seek
    • when you and your husband are naked, he is lying in bed on his stomach, you are sitted just below his bottom to give him an innocent back-relaxing massage and you suddenly realize how close your groin is to his ass and you have to concentrate desperately on what you are doing because in your mind you can see and feel the penis you don't have pressed between you and him and you have the urge to simply move and grind on him because the mental image is so powerful it seems real BUT you can't, because you know that it would freak him out and he would never let you be this near to his ass again. Living with a straight man sometimes really sucks.
The funny thing is that I'm still struggling with the idea of being trans, in a way I'm still in denial, I still think I'm not "trans enough" because I'm living as a female

Ahh, all the times I fantasized about breast or "downstairs" organs being ruined by (and then removed because of) accidents, cancer or mysterious psychosomatic diseases (or early menopause)...

Thought I was the only one who did this. I always felt bad about it. Use to wish I would get breast cancer just so that I could have a good excuse to have the fat flabs removed

You know you are trans when you are feeling out job applications and it asks for your gender and hesitate between female and male, then click male because, hey, they did say gender and not sex

When coming out as bi or gay is an afterthought after coming out as trans.

I really wonder how much straight men actually do mind getting their ass grinded upon xD I mean seriously, does it cause this much discomfort? I am a top, but I'm not bothered by bottoming. I don't particularily enjoy that, but I'm not upset either.

oh hun, I feel for you, I really do. but nothing says you have to rush headlong in one go, it's ok to pause and to wait till you're ready financially and other wise. plus, you are stronger than you think, I believe in you and support any decision you make about your journey. HUGS

When you wonder what you even thought about before you started questioning, because now every time your mind wonders off, you start thinking about gender. I just can't remember which thoughts have been replaced by all these thoughts about my identity.

And you think: "Wow, I'm capable to think that much and that intensely! So much that I spill glasses and can't study. So much that I'm messing the rest of my life."

    --

…when adolescence with its existential / social crisis is a though time, and you don't have one: you have two. The wrong, half-lived one, and the future one in another direction, or in between.
It reminds me when someone goes away after an argument and the other person says: "Hey, it's the other way." "Yes, I was going right there."
Or the scene of The Road to Eldorado: "The trail that we'll blaze… [finds a rock wall behind plants, changes direction] THAT trail that we'll blaze!"

When some jackass starts talking about how trans people are all mentally ill, and you want to shoot back with all your inside knowledge and personal experience, and then you remember you're closeted.

And if you talk about your experience as if it were someone else's? The famous "I know a friend / many friends who…"

    --

When you compare your relationship with some parts of your body to a leg or arm that became dumb while you were sleeping and now it's hitting walls and objects because you can't perceive its position.
At some point of my puberty, the body continued to modify itself (phase A > B > C) but the mind went on thinking that the body was still in B. So I look in the mirror and get surprised hahah (sad laugh).
In addition, there's one part that really feels half-dumb. I guess it's the next stage. Stage 1: ignore your own sex because it's irrelevant. Stage 2A: society puts you in a box (or sexualizes you) because of your sex, so you hide and disguise body parts. Stage 2B: the body inside your mind is different than your actual appearance. It looks wrong. Stage 3: mental mess. Anxiety because body doesn't disguise well. It feels wrong. Even if you're not looking in the mirror.

You know you're trans when you have to choose between clothes that actually fit you and clothes that are socially acceptable to buy/wear.

(Like, I just want to have pants, man. Make pants for smaller dudes, too. Add color as well. How hard can it really be?)

You are actually in a good mood, realize that it's because you weren't thinking about your gender, and that realization gets you thinking about your gender, and you go back to being your mormal, depressed self.
