Describe reaction(s), thought(s), behavior when you do not understand something. Let it rip, meaning write what you feel deep, deep down.

Do you refer to some external data that can't be comprehended, or to some inner thoughts/feelings?

    Ironically, I don't think I understand.

My reaction "I do not understand, could you please restate 'insert what ever they just said'."

when you do not understand something what is your reaction(s), feeling(s)?
Example: You are being taught something in school. You do not understand it. What is your reaction(s)? Lets say down the road your are given a test on the "thing" you do not understand. You fail the test. How do you feel?

Initial confusion, followed by frustration (Why does everybody else seem to get this and I don't?), and ultimately, anger.

Precisely! Voila (pronounced in English, wa la) Beautiful.

Ah you see suppressing one's innate sexuality, not obtaining what your subconscious hungers for - love, I theorize one becomes (can) confused, frustrated, upset, angry, scared.

It's this confused state I've been calling for some time, "brain fog". or that unknown force holding a gay to be person back.

When one gets lost in the wilderness or fails a test what happens? Confusion. Frustration. Anger. Scared.

A turning point occurs when confusion, frustration, anger, scared, within a gay person BECOMES HABIT or A WAY OF LIFE.

Only when you admit to yourself, open yourself up to others, do you break this cycle, bond(s) of confusion, frustration, anger, scared.

But add shame from others and society for being gay or liking the same sex. This very sinister force called shame holds ya in confusion, frustration, anger, scared state(s).

    Voila!

I definitely agree with that. I distinctly remember thinking when I was younger that "if I were a girl, then these feelings I have wouldn't matter". But, as many have, pushed it back because It didn't fit in with the future life I figured I'd have.
Of course, I spent a very long time thinking I'd never live to see 18. I had so much chaos in my head and trying so hard to keep others from seeing the "dark secret" I held inside.
Funny you don't always realize just how damaging the act of suppression can be until you come out of it.
It truly is like an awakening.

Ah you see the beauty of this revaluation is a) presents a solid theory to what is happening inside us. b) gives us something "easy" to relate to what we are going through when we suppress our sexuality - willfully or unwillfully. In the case of b) I can relate my suppressed sexuality to lets say not understanding something in math.
