Am I allowed to hug you? If so: randomly hugging people who are sad about being alone If not: Just enjoying myself and pretending to never having heard of Valentine's Day before (exception: if I get chocolate)
Yeah as above - to me it's just another day. I don't begrudge couples their happiness, but to avoid getting sad about it, really it's just another day. It doesn't affect me, so I don't celebrate it. It's like Thanksgiving - I don't get sad because I'm not American, do I? Same thing goes. I try to be positive! (; Sketchy x
Normally i don't do anything particularly special. But my mom had the sudden idea that we should go out together for lunch and picked up desserts at a local bakery afterwards, and i enjoyed that. I think celebrating family or friendship in the absence of a significant other is something that could be enjoyable, as well.
I used to watch 'The Lonely Guy' and 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' every year, then hang out with my best friend all day.
Ooo got more tips on movies for single appreciation ? I did get an extra snack and just going to play a game . It is just another day, plus I am very cheesy by myself its all valentines day for me. For life. With a partner : P
Practice putting on makeup while I have some music playing probably. I finally got some decent foundation and concealer. :icon_bigg
I cant help but stop to stare at your signature, it is so adorable and I really am freaked out by pigs : P Hows it going with the makeup?
*throws chocolate sprinkles * Thats normal breakfast over here, chocolate sprinkles on a sandwich : D
Being single on Valentine's Day is AWESOME, I find the best cynical memes I can and me and all my single friends spend ages laughing over them. E.g. Roses are red, violets are blue, these people will kneel because THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE DO. (Sherlock/avengers reference).
I try to ignore the fact that it's valentines day. lol, sounds pessimistic, though it's not all that bad. I save money, got no one to nag me, nothing to worry about, it's all good =)
