    Majority America didn't
They split there votes between anyone but Trump, and that divide gave him the election

Bingo. Sanders had wide support, but the DNC made sure that Clinton won and they favored her as the nominee. Sanders was beating Trump by large margins, but Trump was beating Clinton. The DNC only has themselves to blame for this. There were a lot of people that do not like Clinton because of all her scandals. If Sanders was the nominee I would predict an entirely different outcome.

I have to say, I'm afraid. Trump is a bad person, yes, but what he might do with Putin is one of my worst fears.

But good luck to America, you'll need it.

    Clinton ceded the vote.
    Trump has won.

I blame the DMC. Next time, Democrats, don't shoot yourselves in the foot...

Glad I live in California. Where liberals and progressives are abundant. The Feds may be Republican now, but my state isn't

We, I believe, are a strong people. It's just so sad he has to be so anti positive. If he wants to bring jobs to America I suggest he start with his own companies. Remember youngin that England, not long ago had a discussion on whether or not to even allow him in your country. Saw it on BBC.

I'm going to quit this thread now before I get into trouble or really piss some off. Which I am sorry if I already have.

Canada here: were offering classes on how to song our national anthem here and polar bear rides.

Seriously, this effects us all in the world. Canada traded with the US non stop and we used to be kind of the follow big brother around what they did kind of attitude.

I wish America good luck. They are going to need it.

    Oh come on!

It was a straight choice out of the two worst candidates in recent memory and one of them had to win. I didn't want Brexit but it happened and apart from some price increases, nothing much else has changed.
Trump isn't going to blow up the world with nuclear weapons come 20th January and the world isn't going to end so the best thing to do is to just get on with it.

Let the people of the world who dont know, know that the America people did not vote in the presidential election . The ELECTORAL COLLEGE did , and they elected the president.

So think about that before you start to talk about the decisions of the american people

now- how do we survive this?

Ahh shame! I thought Trump would win in Ohio and Florida and could flip over Arizona. Didn't expect Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to turn as well.

For now, he doesn't seem like a good president to me and I don't agree with his points of view (which is unsurprising as I'm not Republican at all). I agree with Joelouis though. We should just get on with in, there's not much we can do about it now.

He made a lot of progress in Wisoncsin and I think that last minute change up of him heading up north did something.

I was surprised by Florida to be honest but I suppose in the rural areas, Trump's platform seemed more appealing or more preferable than Clinton.

It really surprised me to see Wisconsin, I didn't expect that. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I don't know how much Trump campaigned there, but I didn't read anything about Wisconsin turning red. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: It was a surprise to me, even more surprising than Pennsylvania.

Interestingly enough, he got Ohio and he'll be president. Ohio, being such a good measure for the U.S. as a whole.
