Each morning fighting with yourself to limit dysphoria with clothing choice, hairstyle or makeup choices, or pronouns you use to refer to yourself.

I'm still wondering if my coming out letter to my family should include my orientation or not.....maybe it'll be a little easier to accept if I'm straight(or they think I am?) and then just wait until I end up dating another girl to tell them....

    Hey Brooke Victoria,

So I thought of a question to your thought. If your parents/family have always seen you as male and think of you as "straight/heterosexual", then will they think you like girls still because of your gender assigned at birth, or will they think that you will like guys because you were always a girl? Just something I thought of... not that it is really important to discuss until they as you or you are dating someone.

I think it's best to leave it out. To be truthful, they probably won't even be thinking about it all, as they'll be too busy wrapping their head around the fact that I'm trans to even think of anything else at first.

When your roommate comes home with happy news saying she finally gets to see a surgeon to have a consult about breast reduction. After she went back to her room I had to shut the door and start crying. I feel guilty about it because it is something that will really help her. It just made me think how I also want life improving surgery but for me to get it I will have to jump through way more hoops than she did. If only I was cis.

When you keep misreading the gamy title "Tyranny" as a word used by mechanics to refer to car transmissions, but is currently being misused as a transphobic slur, whenever it pops up in your subscriptions on youtube and you have to do a doubletake each time to be sure youtube isn't trying to call you names.

Seriously, it's not just me that misreads that word/game title, is it?

Yea, that's more a problem with the fashion industry as a whole than it is with people who want to wear something. Like, all the cute clothes with pastel colors don't come in sizes that fit me, and it is super hard to find light/pastel tights in adult sizes.

    Speaking about clothing sizes...

When you can't find anything that really fits you unless you pick X-Small (or mostly just find), or you go in the kids' section :l
