Atm, Imagine dragons. I like their collaboration on Sucker Pain and their song Demons. Their lyrics are way up to the top.

Those guys are great, and so is the album "The Sufferer and the Witness"! I'm not a huge fan of their last album though, too much pop-rock for my taste. I was lucky enough to see them live a couple years back, and it was amazing.

The Breeders forever. I liked them before I ever even liked the Pixies. Cannonball.

    Spring King

These guys have only come into my radar since january but I've seen them twice this year and I'm gonna see them again later this month. I cannot stress how much I love these guys they are everything I love about music at the moment and I can't wait to see where they go.

Sleater-Kinney. It contains my favorite singer (Corin Tucker), my favorite drummer (Janet Weiss), and my favorite famous person (Carrie Brownstein). They make great music. They're also cool.

There are two that have me split down the middle.

The first is PVRIS. Lynn Gunn has the most dynamic voice I've ever heard. It's hard to put into words what her voice does to me, but it's just so powerful and beautiful! Lynn, in general, is just so awesome. She has inspired me on my own journey with my sexual identity and feeling comfortable with who I am. She is so passionate about the art she makes, both musically and visually, and it inspires me to keep making my own art and music. Plus she seems like a super chill person =]
White noise is one of my all time favorite albums, there is not a bad song on that album. Even their older songs are amazing. The Heartless is my favorite song by them, hands down. The band as a whole is just so amazing and talented, I look forward to hearing what they create in the future.

The second band is Something Corporate. Really anything Andrew McMahon creates is pure gold, but SoCo has been a long time favorite. I have cried, spilled my heart out, and rocked out to SO many of their songs. Plus they put on an awesome show live. Classics like Watch The Sky, Konstantine, and Punk Rock Princess are hard to beat. Piano rock for the win!

    DragonForce:
I love the instrumentals. I don't listen to the lyrics. Love the energy in the songs.

    Less Than Jake:
Right now they're my favorite ska band.
    Mostly because of the instrumentals.
    So cheerful.

    Dropkick Murphys:
Great sound. The 2 main vocalists has such great voice.
    Check out Sunshine Highway.

    Foo Fighters:
Dave Grohl is a(n) awesome guy.
And the music is of course great.

    Mad Caddies:
Funny band name, fitting for a ska band. Lots of fun songs. Like Crew Cut Chuck.

    Paddy & the Rats:
Love their pub n rol sound.
Atm I'm listening mostly to their Hymns for Bastards album.

    Pendulum:
    Need so variation.
And they're the best Drum and bass band imo.

    Reel Big Fish:
    Hilarious band.
    Great ska.

    Rise Against:
Great songs about political stuff, and anti war stuff, anti this and that.

I suck at writing why I like bands, or other stuff. I just like them.

    Iron Maiden.

I began listening to them when I was 12 and I'm still listening to them now amongst the 12 years olds today with their Mums & Dads. They have kept a distinctive sound throughout, despite a few line up changes yet still deliver original songs. Bruce Dickinson is a wearer of many hats - Fencer, Pilot & patron of many good causes and having met him in person I can vouch that he is thoroughly good all round egg.

'The Sufferer and the Witness' is a fantastic album. I would not name them as my favorite band by any means but I loved this album. Some of their more recent stuff has felt a bit weak to me, but I used to blast this at top volume a few years ago. I've seen them live a couple times as well, and they delivered.

At the moment, Kitchens of Distinction. I like that their lyrics are poetic, and they have an extremely talented guitarist in Julian Swales. However, they are still down to earth, relatable and unsnobbish. My favourite album by them is probably The Death Of Cool.

Right now I'd say Sabaton, The music and lyrics make you feel like you're on the front lines of a battle, they're one of the best live bands I've seen.

Hypocrisy, listened to them since high school, always had lyrics that related to me a bit.

    - My favourite band is Hollywood Undead.

    - I like them because they have an interesting style. Quite a few of their songs have deep meaning if you really listen to them.

    - Their best song is probably 'Bullet'.

Fuck, that always changes. Currently, I listen to HIM a lot. Love Ville's voice and it's a challenge to sing along. Especially In Joy and Sorrow. Some others I can do quite well ^^

Queensryche: Mindcrime gave me goosebumps like nothing else before or since. They write brilliant songs that are challenging yet memorable, and their music really pushed me as a singer and guitarist.

    Hollywood Undead.

I love the mixture of rap and rock. They also have a large range of different focal points for the their songs, some might focus more on the rock aspect (Lion, New Day, etc) while others focus more so on the rap aspect (Comin' In Hot, Guzzle Guzzle, etc)

Honestly I'm not too close to my step-brother, but I thank him profusely for forcing me to listen to HU's music.

Been listening to Ghost a bunch lately. They have a somewhat unique sound and I like the satanic pop metal vibe.
