I got inspired by the coffee thread and since I'm more of a tea kind of guy, I wanna hear what teas you like best! My favorite is raspberry pomegranate green tea with a shit ton of honey

Oooh good thread idea. I like tea a lot too especially in the fall and winter. I used to hate tea but I've come to embrace it. I'm still trying new teas all the time though.

I like green tea with a bit of honey. A little added honey in most teas I seem to like. I'm loving this peppermint tea I have right now. The fruity and flower with black teas are good and the herbal teas too. like the raspberry hibiscus one a lot. Oh and I like oolong teas.

The green tea you mentioned sounds delicious, what else would you recommend to try?

That's what I was looking for from you guys haha. Another tea I really like is cinnamon black tea. I don't really know anything about tea but my mom loves tea and I just grab random teas out of the pantry. We also have orange blossom honey which is amazing with any fruit flavored tea

    Also, hello fellow Michigander! haha

Ah I see, yea I wish I had a tea expert friend to guide me on my tea journey. I want to get a loose leaf tea set because I've heard the flavor is best that way.

The Orange blossom sounds good! I'm not very found of anything with cinnamon in it though.

Aye, hello back, fellow mitten mate!:smilewave

From the actual Camellia sinensis plant I like a cold, iced tea that's brewed. I think they're usually orange pekoe leaves. I gave up on sugar so I just have my iced tea unsweetened.

For non-Camellia sinensis herbal teas/tisanes, you can't beat a good iced cold rooibos tea.

I've heard that as well. Years back, I routinely made loose leaf tea because it was the purist suggestion. Plus a lot of teas seemed to be available only as loose leaf tea. But I can't swear it is better--I never did any sort of comparison tests.

These days, I almost always use tea bags, mainly because they are the easiest to find.

I love hot Jasmine tea with a bit of stevia most of the time. But in the mornings I'll take hot black tea with sugar, no milk (as I'm allergic).

My Southern gent loves a glass of cold, sweet tea. But I don't have it often that way.

I go for green tea and oolong tea, there is a traditional Chinese tea store that imports tea from china and I like going getting tea from there... Its a little expensive as the teas I go for are usually around $20-30 but its worth it in the end, its awesome tea!

But if im offered any tea, ill take it, though I prefer without milk and sugar, sugar in tea to me is pointless, especially in fruit teas.

The first time I tried green tea I hated it. With honey I eventually came to love it. Now, I find the honey too sugary and love drinking it plain.

I tend to drink a lot of green tea. It's pretty much all I drink throughout the day. My go-to tea right now is this one:

I also really like Moroccan mint green teas and jasmine green tea on occasion. I have some gyokuro for special occasions! I like herbal teas such as camomile and peppermint/spearmint too. I try to avoid flavored teas with "natural flavors." I really need to venture out and explore other teas. I'm overly paranoid about tea since I don't really love buying things from China, and I'm not sure of a good supplier for Japanese teas.

I prefer white, black, and green teas! Love matcha, hojicha, jasmine, sencha, earl gray, lapsang souchong, chai...;basically if it's not rooibos, I like it. (Although I have to be careful with yerba/mate too.) Chai and the occassional black tea I'll have with some milk, but I never sweeten my tea. I use honey if I'm feeling sick/have a sore throat and that's it.

My favourite flavoured tea would probably be David's Tea's Buttered Rum. It's a black tea and it tastes like buttered rum. If you burn it, it just tastes like rum. Perfect for work! XD

Hot black tea with semi-skimmed milk. I drink at least 5 cups of it almost every day

I love black tea - English or Irish breakfast. Tiny splash of milk, no sugar. I take mine very strong. Four or five cups a day.

I'm not really a fan of other flavoured teas, except for mint. I have some fennel and some chamomile tea but I'd be lying if I said I drank it regularly.

Oh yes, I also like traditional Chinese tea with those twigs and bits in.
