I love perfume marketed towards women because it's more fruity and floral. Most men's cologne is too strong and yucky for me. Right now I'm using Bvlgari Aqva Divina and a few things from Bath and Body Works.
I'm allergic to a lot of it, so that probably leaves a little bit of negative bias. I think it's the propellant since hair spray does the same thing? Anyway. I'll say I'm neutral towards women's since the allergies, some can smell quite nice and sometimes not so much, I assume it's cheap or something I guess. Can agree with the men's being too strong, back in high school it replaced the oxygen in the school halls where I lived and I had to keep my head in my shirt to breathe, especially with the allergies. The scent wasn't particularly nice either, especially when mixed with what is probably gallons of teenage boy sweat. Didn't mix nicely. Other than horrid flashbacks to high school and needing to keep my distance however, I'll say I'm pretty neutral. I don't mind as long as it's not super strong or not spraying it right in front of me since the propellant makes me sick. It's annoying enough trying to find alternatives to hair spray or hypoallergenic.
Same with me especially men's. Some people just drown themselves in an entire bottle and it smells really bad.
I only like natural smells, like anything that's fruity, floral, and naturish (smell of beaches, forests) for both perfume and cologne, but anything that's smells to artificial I can't stand. >.> especially for cologne. It makes me feel sick if it's strong enough.
It depends on the fragrance. I don't like anything that is heavy and musky because it gives me headache.
I hate most perfumes and colognes because the scents are really unnatural. However, I DO love really fruity tropical fragrances made for women, and some pine, foresty-scented things made for men... Really, just natural scents smell nice...
In small doses, and of the right stuff, oh yeah. I love good smells. But the odor cloud of cheap cologne incites asthmatic gagging and a headache. It could go either way just as easy.
I like the smell of that Axe spray stuff, for whatever reason. The actual perfume and cologne though, no.
I like more "foresty" smelling cologne. I wish there was a cologne that smelled like a bbq, nothing beats the smell of a barbecue .
It makes me sneeze. Like, always. So no, not really. I do like some of the lighter scents though, when they're really faint.
What's wrong with a little natural musk? I rarely use cologne or deo for my pits, they make me feel less fresh to be honest. I feel sticky and disgusting when I wear it. Some of them can smell quite good tho.
I like cologne on other people as long as it's subtle and not overbearing. I don't wear it myself. I'd rather just use body wash and deodorant to make myself smell good.
in very small quantities they can smell nice. Normally I just like subtle smells on people but they really don't need to be from cologne.
No. On other people, I rarely notice it (and if I do, it tends to make me nauseous). On me, I just don't see the point and I'm afraid that my skin will react to it, so I don't put on any.
Use this lightly and I will love you forever. I tend to like woodsy, musky (from musk) "masculine" scents.
